This product actually worked on my acne scars. Even though my skin is still recovering from the acne scars as they are very old...I have seen improvement. You have to use it regularly to see results. Use in combination with rosehip oil and mederma.

I was hoping for the best with this product, but was very skeptical as I truly believe there is no such thing as a "magic pill." My 17 month old son has a sulfur deficiency so we have to follow a very strict diet (as many components in food need a sulfur binder in order to be processed by the liver). If he eats too many foods with natural components that require sulfur, his eczema flares and his behavior suffers. However, all foods contain these components to some extent so it's impossible to avoid them completely, so his facial eczema still moderately flares. I bought this with hopes that the sulfur in this product may improve his eczema by binding with the toxins left floating in his body after the liver was unable to "finish the job." My son also has 16 confirmed food allergies, soy being one of them. Soy oil and lecithin are two of the ingredients in this product. However, they are both known to be refined enough that allergy sufferers don't typically react. I was leery, as it's not unheard of to react to soy oil or lecithin if your allergy is extensive enough. My son's allergy to soy is a class 1 allergy, so pretty low, and the other msm products contained almond, which he is also allergic to (class 2 allergy), which is a potentially more hazardous ingredient. This product was the safer bet and I really thought it may produce a noticeable benefit so I bought it, but of course approached with caution. I tested a little spot on his hand first. No reaction. Then I tested a little spot on his face. No reaction. Then I lathered it on his whole face, and I noticed two tiny little hives/blisters form on his lips that quickly vanished within a minute. Nothing else happened. That was enough for me to wipe it off, though. At the time of application, his "allergy bucket" was full, meaning he was already maxed out on the chemicals in food that he doesn't tolerate well, as I had cheated when I went out of town a day or two prior (breastfeeding, so he recieves the components in the food that I eat.) I didn't give up hope, just assumed based on past experiences that I perhaps needed to wait until his allergy bucket wasn't so full to try it again. In the meantime, I figured I would give it a go on my own skin. I don't have the greatest skin--tiny milia under my eyes on the thin layer of skin that developed after using Proactive in my early twenties (31 now), random pimples that had at one point been adult acne (now controlled mostly by diet), big pores, and slightly shiny skin that's usually oily to some extent, but not totally disgustingly, noticeably so. I have to use face wash for sensitive skin and Vanicream Lite lotion as it is the only stuff that doesn't cause overdrying or overly oily skin for me (overly dry skin and oily skin both directly and indirectly cause pimples for me.) The first thing I noticed after applying this product was that it did have sort of a "burn." Not a painful burn, just a slightly uncomfortable almost menthol on your face feeling. It went away after about a minute, and I only felt it that very first application. I was sort of expecting this though as one reviewer had mentioned the vitamin A content of the product having this effect, and I have sensitive skin. The second thing I noticed about this product was the way it felt when I started sweating. Gross. It felt thick and cakey, and like it was definitely clogging my pores. I wanted to immediately wipe it off but I left it, because I wanted to be able to make a well-informed decision about it. The next morning I woke up with surprisingly no new pimples. The third thing I noticed about this product was the morning of the second day. I woke up after applying it the afternoon after my shower and my skin literally looked YOUNG. Like, that's the only way I can describe it. It was completely even-toned (where usually it can be kind of pinkish here and there, not entirely noticeable to other people, but to me, yes.) My skin had a really healthy glow to it, too and I just remember looking in the mirror in shock. I hadn't seen my skin look that good in YEARS. I hadn't even bought the product for myself but I'm pretty sure it's exactly what my skin needed. I have to add that about a month before I tried this product I had completely changed my diet, and had eliminated table sugar, gluten, grains, and processed foods. (Focusing on whole foods.) My normal scattered pimples had completely cleared up on this diet. This is not a miracle product for acne, but when combined with the proper diet, it can seriously, seriously improve the quality of your skin. For whatever biological reason, mangos give me pimples, but they are so delicious and when they're in season and selling for 50¢ a mango, it is hard not to indulge. While using this product, I still got pimples from mangos, so it's not a "magic pill" as magic pills don't exist, but it definitely did it's part to noticeably put something back in my skin that was missing. (I'm guessing that if my son lacks sulfur maybe he, to an extent, got that from me?) Combined with proper diet, this product meets all of it's expectations. I have been using it for about a month, and it still does not cause pimples despite its texture, and creates that really even, young glow to my skin. Now, back to my son. I waited until his allergy bucket wasn't as full and tried the product again with no side-effects. He has been using it for a couple weeks now with no allergic reactions. It did improve the quality of his skin and his eczema flare shrunk to about half the size. His flares also don't last as long as they used to. He still flares, as he is sensitive to oxalates as well, which are not elimianted by a sulfur binder, so the product scientifically wouldn't work for that, but he is doing very well with it and I'm pleased with the results. We will continue to use this product, and to update its long-term results.

I love the healing properties of an MSM cream, and have been looking for the right moisturizer for my face for 20 years. I inevitably break out, and I found most creams and moisturizers to be too oily for my skin. I am delighted at how affordable the screen is considering how great it works. I have used it for several years now and my skin does not break out and the cream does not irritate my skin either. It’s a good creamy consistency, absorbs well into the skin and is odorless. The advice of another reviewer. I add a few drops of Rosehip oil and it makes it a little bit less watery and more substantial. It tends to hydrate my skin better, and I’m very pleased with the results. This is a great little cream! The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is I’m not sure about how natural the ingredients are.
