We went to a RBD party theme and this tie was perfect! My daughter used it and the material was great.

In a perfect world, appearances wouldn't matter in business. What would matter is the kind of person you were and what you brought to the table as an employee, employer, vendor, consultant, etc. Having worked in finance and economics for over 10 years, however, I can tell you that (to some degree at least) appearances still do matter; and depending on the situation, the tie you wear matters. This is a tie I'd feel comfortable wearing in any job interview, business meeting or function where a suit-and-tie is called for. I've had many ties in my life; and this one is as good as any of them. Yes, it's even as good as the high-end ties I used to own from Brooks Brothers (I actually still have one), one of my personal go-to brands when it comes to business apparel. That alone would be impressive, but the price ($15.31) makes it even more so. I bought this tie because I'm currently looking for work in financial analysis and business analysis; and I'm glad I took a chance on this unfamiliar brand. Highly recommended.

Yes, this tie was narrower than I expected. I measured and found it to be 3 1/4" at the widest point. The colors are bright and will be perfect to wear on Brexit Day (whether it's October 31 or later) and Remembrance Day. It even has the stripes in the proper right to left orientation! At closer inspection the tie colors remind me of the Norwegian flag, but it will work in the UK (or the US on July 4).I am 6'2" tall and find the short end of the tie hangs down to the 4th button from the top of my shirt. The quality of the material seems good, and I hope it will last for years to come.

The tie looks great but you get what you pay for... The first day I unwrap it and go to tie it, one of the tiny threads on the keeper loop came undone at the slightest touch.
