My Experience
I bought this headset hoping for something a little more flexible then my gear VR, for the most part it delivered.Things I like about this headset1. The HDMI input, its pretty awesome to be able to use any video source, This works with 2d and 3d video as well.2. The fact that i can install any android app and use it in VR (it's basically like having a landscape oriented android on a movie screen)3. It's about the exact same size as the Gear VR and fits in a Gear VR carrying case (the one co2crea makes is great)4. With HDMI in you can control the size of the "screen" (to explain it differently, you can make the view seem far away or consume your FOV)5. Padding around eyes is nice and thick and plush6. It definitely feels like its of good quality, I've only had it for a few days, but it seems durable.7. The pricetag is just rightThings I dislike about this headset1. The quality of the display, there is a bit of motion blur, and its kinda hard to read text.2. Maybe its just my nose, but in order to center my eyes with the lenses, the headset digs into the top of my nose3. There are a bunch of weird social chinese apps built in that you can't really remove.4. The head tracking is definitely not as fluid as you would hope, but its definitely tolerable.Things I wish the headset did/had1. I'd love a built in speaker, ssize of the app display the same way you can with hdmi in.3. Better lenses, compared to the Gear VR, the lenses could be a bit better.eems the only option is to use the headphone port.2. I'd like to be able to adjust theOverall I'm happy with the buy, and if you are looking for a reasonably priced headset to screw around with it delivers.

The Magicsee Virtual Reality M1 Goggles/Glasses
The Magicsee Virtual Reality M1 Goggles/Glasses are a great step forward in regards to this family of devices. These are not the Cardboard or Plastic boxes one slides their phone into to utilize for viewing 3D, 360° or VR material. These are a self-contained Android 5.1 device, with the beginning of a good 360° GUI control environment, a 5.5 inch screen, and Bluetooth & WiFi.I have reason to believe that their Manufacturer, Nibiru, is going to soon release their M2 Version and as such I'd like to make a couple recommendations for their USA Market. The more recent versions of the M1 has the Google Play App pre-installed. This gives us new users a ton of possibilities. I find, for instance, that I love to watch Netflix in bed before turning in for the evening. The M1 gives you an untethered, in the Theater experience to do this in style. However, I'd like to recommend a few improvements, to this already wonderful device, that might increase market share. All my suggestions are rather easy fixes!** First, the Nose Piece is uncomfortable for perhaps our larger American Faces. A bit of available padding is really needed to make them more comfortable for, at least, me.** Second, the navigation devices provided with the M1 are simply inadequate for the Applications, like Netflix. that are available via the Play Store. An expensive Mouse, OTG Adapter, and Mouse Bluetooth Dongle fixes all these problems.** Third, again in regards to me! Wearing Headphones in bed are very uncomfortable. I've found that a Pillow Speaker further enhanced the untethered viewing experience available with these goggles.** The fourth item is Software/Firmware related. I'd personally like to have a simple way to quickly adjust the M1's Sensors to center my GUI's navigation, in the plain in front of my face, no matter my head's position. In other words... it's inconvenient to have to sit or stand up to switch Application and/or to execute a simple navigation task. Give me the ability to easily move my Controller Panel to where its needed. That's it for now other than I'd like the opportunity to evaluate/review the new M2 Device. I might be able to give Nibiru a few ideas before it's released to the USA masses... Just an idea!

You might want to pass on this one . . .
Got this a few days ago. The delivery was fast, with excellent packaging. The quality of the build is very good, imo. The Android system looks good, and is easy enough to manage. Having said that, I must say that the image quality itself is very poor. When connected to my computer, I can see icons good enough, but forget reading any text. Playing Fallout was very difficault as the screen is clipped at the corners, (like viewing a square through a circle). The zoom for this has only three steps; 50%, 80% or full. With the normal view, as well as the 50% setting, you get a box, (your desktop), that is severely concaved on all sides, and text is scrambled to the point of illegibility. At 80% and the full setting, a very blurry game shows up, with no ability to see corners. Leaving out diopter adjustments is, in my opinion, a very serious omission. These experiences were with, and without my glasses. I will say this, though; there is plenty of room for your glasses. This probably wont get much playtime at my house. I'm giving one star, because I consider image quality to be that important. No amount of other "great" features can make up for that.

Disappointment & Disaster
I was very upset with the product, firstly the HDMI to mini HDMI cord they sent was broken, I happened to have a spare so I tested that it was in fact a defective cord, however my cord is only a one footer so I have to buy another one, additionally it DOES NOT WORK WITH A BLU-RAY OR DVD PLAYER!!!! the HDMI input only works with the computer. The instructions are also incoherent and don't make grammatical sense, meaning that if you need help with configuration the book is useless and need to look online e I guess. The final thing is that there was a card telling you what feedback you should leave!!! It shows 5 stars for everything to entice you to leave a good review, all in all i wouldn't buy anything from vigcia again and am going to consider returning this and getting a better VR headset instead.

Waste
For starters it has no instructions with it. After about 3 months it does not even charge anymore. Bought this for my pre-teen son and was not happy when there was also soft core asian porn on some of the "sample" pictures, with no way of deleting it. Save your money.
