We really got a shock out of this. Everyone had a fun time playing with it.

I bought this product as a gift for my sister and it is excessively loud. Quite gimmicky and didn't measure your heart rate at all, it was more of a "random outcome" game. It was also made of cheap plastic. Don't recommend. Save your money!

Product was intended as gift for 10 year old. I tested it before gifting it. Made of flimsy plastic. The advertised “electronic shock” was barely discernible when it worked. Awkward for placement of hand (adult or adolescent) onto sensors. English translation of instructions was very poorly written. I returned the item.

I bought this as a gag gift for my older brother, who, HONEST TO GOD, fashioned a 'lie detector' from his science kit when we were kids and used it to shock us when we 'lied'. So, for that alone, it deserves two stars. It was funny to give it to him and for him to have to strap down his hand and get shocked a few times.That said, this is OBVIOUSLY not a working lie detector, but it also is confusing to use and the instructions are not helpful. We eventually figured out that you can put it in 'shock' mode or in 'vibrate' mode with the mode button. It makes a helpful corresponding sound and it's pretty clear which one is the shock mode. Then you need to strap in the victim's... err player... player's hand and press start. It will cycle through a 'calibration' mode and then you press start again and ask the player a Yes/No question. It will then take about fifteen seconds to ding through some lights and 90% of the time WILL NOT shock you. We tried it on about 6 different people, and ironically, I got shocked the most. (Which my brother thought was hilarious, BTW). Only one other player was shocked and we tried several dozen times with lots of different people. It's really actually kind of boring if you're using it as a game. But if it's a joke or gimmick, then go for it.

I was so excited to use this but then the spring to one of the batteries broke. It hasn’t even been a full 24 hours yet and this toy is already broken. DO NOT BUY.

Returning for replacementWhen it arrived parts were inside rattling and it was one of the main buttons. Had to open up and 2 screw bases came off.
