The best of the best
It would be difficult to see how Brunton could have improved on the Truaarc 20 or what they could have added to it. The declination adjustment is NOT difficult to use. The accuracy is 1 degree. A few helpful plastic map scale pages underneath the compass are included along with a white plastic page to better view the readouts which are underneath a magnifier to give both forward and back azimuths. The bezel moves easily and the needle is global and as easy to use as global needles ever are. For the money the Truarc20 cannot be beaten by either the Silva Ranger 2.0 or The Top of the line Suunto, both of which I own.

Expensive Junk!!
As it was damaged beyond repair when I received it...I did not get a chance to evaluate its use...however...from the flimsy construction and cheap materials I can not imagine anyone wanting to rely on this junkto navigate their way forward..Suunto would be a much better option...

Bubbles
The bubbles (greater than 1/4 inch) make it hard to read the face. I expected more from Brunton’s top line compass. No customer service.

Luminous
I have an older 8099 Eclipse that I really like. This has better lume for use in low light conditions. The reference cards are no longer included, but I'll probably take them out of my old compass when needed. It's American made now. I'm not sure my old one was. That's nice to see. I have a couple of Brunton Pocket Transits, but they are a bit heavy and not as practical for just hiking.
