Great 4 daily use/poetry teatime
We bought this teapot to do Julie Bogarts poetry teatime with the kids. I loved the glass look as soon as I saw it. I didn’t want white or flower teapots anymore on the table.. teapots in general are delicate so I wasn’t put off by thin glass. The cozy was a bonus feature for us. I wasn’t expecting to love it to be honest. I thought it would be a mess to clean up and take off. I love it so far. The tea pours out great so there’s no spills on the cozy and taking it on and off is a breaze. I did it one handed today without an issue. I plan to use my embroidery machine on it eventually to customize it. The black color is going to be a great canvas for me. We do need to eventually buy teacups to match the teapot, but the teapot being clear glass seems to match what we have somewhat for now. Before this I was using a few different things including a plug in water kettle, instant hot water dispenser, a ceramic tea pot, I’ve used the old school stove kettles inbetween. This is sooo much better, faster and neat looking. Tea costs for use have already went down. Doing teabags per cup like we were doing to save time with the instant water dispenser was starting to get expensive! The lid stays snug on when you pour without issue. Cozy on or off the tea stays pretty hot. We never have had to reheat. We have had all positive experiences so far with the teapot. Including delivery. Nothing came broken or anything. We did get an email which I loved from the company asking if we received the pot, how we liked it etc. just very personal and professional. I’ve never had a seller on amazon ever email me like that. Makes me want to buy more of these as gifts! :D The description says this does 3-4 cups but we get 6 and have a little left over with our teacups. You can see in the picture. It’s just the right size for us (3 cups) with 2 refills each. Cozy on and off we get compliments both ways. I don’t really have a preference since the tea stays pretty hot without it. Its a keeper for teatime for sure. It’s adorable. I use PG Tips tea in the infuser area and it works great. Not just for loose tea for those wondering. The little basket pulls right up and out to dump the bags when you’re all done. I thought with all the pieces that it would be hard to clean, but it instantly rinses clean with just hot water before any kind of soap for those wondering about clean up. Didn’t need a bottle brush or anything. I have had a bunch of different pots over the years and they get that brown residue after just a few uses just from the heat and sitting & the ceramic ones crack or turn that yellowish color if there’s any defect in the sealant. Haven’t had any issues like that so far being this is glass. Just really nice and easy after an afternoon reading with the littles. It’s small and light enough for them to pour without issues. My children are older and have tons of tea pouring experience & supervision. Just adding that in FYI to let people know that I don’t recommend letting small children or clumsy guests pouring their own hot tea in glass without help. It’s really a cute teapot & the price is decent for what all you get. I priced a few of the cheaper glass pots on amazon and we decided with this one because some of the other pots reviewed had leaks with those other sellers with tops popping off. Shipping I could understand causing a product to break. Totally different to have wrong sized parts. Wasn’t taking that risk. Totally worth paying a little more to have a more quality product from a company that stands behind their products.

Love it
I wanted an attractive teapot for when I make loose-leaf black tea, or Korean barley tea. I rarely server more than 2-3 people, so this size is perfect for me. Pros: Gorgeous. With the sleeve off, a glass teapot full of tea is a gorgeous sight. This teapot looks good whether it's being displayed on a shelf or served to guests. Everything You Need for Most Types of Tea. This glass teapot has a metal funnel which holds a removable infuser and lid. This means you can brew whatever you want in the infuser, then remove it when your desired strength is reached. If you don't mind sacrificing some of the gorgeous looks of the see-through glass, there's also a thin insulated sleeve which can be zipped on or off to help keep your tea warm. I've found it doesn't keep the tea warm for long, but it does help. Good capacity. This teapot is plenty for 2 people to have tall cups (16oz) or 4 people to have short cups (8oz). That's plenty to cover a wide range of people. You could easily serve 6-8 people in smaller teacups (4-6oz). Cons: The teapot lid is the biggest drawback. It's metal-on-metal, so it can be difficult to remove like a cocktail shaker. The lid also fits into the infuser instead of onto the pot, so for instance if you use a bagged tea instead of loose-leaf, you can't remove the funnel part or else you also can't use the lid at all. If the lid fit onto the teapot itself, so you could remove the infuser and funnel, I think this pot would be perfect. This teapot is not well insulated, even with the sleeve. If you and a guest want to sip your tea for a long time and expect hot cups later, this teapot won't do it. Ideally, this teapot is made for a quick round of tea for a few guests and maybe a top-up, but then you're going to need to refresh with hot water. For my application, insulation isn't necessary. You should consider a double-walled teapot if that's what you need. Overall: For a small household where you only occasionally brew tea, this is a great piece to add a little flair to your service. The smaller size and lack of insulation may make it less suitable for larger homes, or if you like to keep a pot warm. I usually only make a pot or two a day, and I only serve 1-3 people at a time, so this pot is perfect for me.

Fantastic Teapot
After decades of using the Pyrex and Corning Ware tea pots I have had, my last one cracked leaving only the handle that had held many replacement pots. Lightweight, bright and 21st Century! I have moved onto an electric kettle for tea and a coffee press for coffee, so a heavy stovetop tea pot was not necessary. What is necessary is some knowledge of using glassware. You do not pour rolling boiling and bubbling hot water into any glass or ceramic pot and expect it to last very long. It is also not recommended for preparation of tea or coffee. Glass and ceramics expand, transfer heat and explode if you pour boiling hot water onto them while they are on a cold countertop. Always have some metal in the pot or coffee press to absorb the heat, and the pot on a trivet to prevent thermal shock. I keep an ice tea spoon on hand whenever I pour hot liquids into a glass vessel. Most of the negative reviews seem to refer to the kettle cracking soon after purchase. Easily prevented by pouring slowly and not having the pot sitting on a cold marble or granite countertop. The style is fantastic, I love the cozy that it came shipped in for protection, and the fit and finish of the basket. I have always poured tea with the opposite hand on the teapot’s lid. That little tang on the lid was never trusted to keep the lid on and not destroy your favorite tea or coffee cup. Performance wise, no metallic taste. Nothing to complain about. I’m sure my cat will head butt it off the countertop at some point; but until then it’s going to hand washed and used daily.

NO more tea bags for me!
TL;DR: If you are looking for a new loose leaf tea post and infuser, your look is over. Get this one and enjoy your tea. The long winded version: For decades I lived with the misconception that tea from tea bags was A) good and B) better than loose leaf tea because it was faster and easier to make. This little kettle and a friends gift of some loose leaf tea has totally disproved that and increased my love of tea. A friend from Europe recently visited and was a little shocked that I served them tea made from tea bags. A few days later I received a small tin of loose leaf tea. Since I had no way to prepare it and did not want my friends gesture to be ignored I decided to learn about preparing loose leaf tea. My research led me to this little tea pot and infuser set. Based on the reviews and its cost I decided to take a chance and get one. It arrived quickly thanks to Prime so I decided to take the plunge and make my first batch of loose leaf tea ever. While it did take a little longer to make than my typical bagged tea it was a somewhat thrilling experience with the tea smell and the anticipation of my first loose leaf tea at home. Since I drink a lot of iced tea I had decided to swing for the fence and made an almost full kettle of tea. When it came time to remove the leaves I was a little surprised to see the leaves had greatly expanded out of the infuser proper and up onto the collar that supports it. It took a little work to remove both without spilling any leaves into the very aromatic tea but I managed it. I was rewarded with THE best tasting tea I can EVER recall having. The flavor was amazing and there was no typical bitter aftertaste that I had grown to expect from my tea bags! Sure, the tea was the real reason for that but if not for this very elegant and easy to use tea pot I would never have had my eyes opened to what tea really can be. Since then I have been making nearly twice the amount of tea I used to and have begun to look only for good loose leaf teas. That is due in no small part to the ease of making good tea in my new W&E tea pot. I also enjoy having the little neoprene cover for the tea pot to keep the tea warm between glasses. It works remarkably well and after a couple tries I finally got the knack of getting it on without getting stung by the hot tea pot. The entire tea pot is very stylish and is likely to become a permanent fixture of my kitchen counter with my wifes blessing. It is probably the first item to achieve that status in over a decade. While I am very pleased with my new tea pot and the world of tea that it has opened up for me there are a couple tiny flys in my tea leaves to mention (and why I did not give it 5 stars). The first is that although the collar and infuser are stainless steel, mine stained slightly after my first use. 2 little leaves had stuck to the collar. By the time I finished the pot and cleaned everything there was a slight discoloration where they leaves had sat. With a bit of gentle elbow grease and persistence I was able to make it all go away. I had never expected that to happen on "stainless" steel but my wife said it is not unusual. The second small issue I have is that when making a full pot of water the collar that holds the infuser becomes half submerged in the water. That allows for the tea leaves to easily float up on top of the collar which makes cleanup harder. Yes I could make less tea per pot but I blame the tea pot for making me want more tea so its a small ding against it. (If they made the collar "flatter" then it would hold the infuser higher and this would not be an issue.) Overall I give this tea pot and infuser a 4.5 rating. Since I always rate on a bell curve (almost never giving a 5 or a 1) that is nothing for Willow & Everett to be worried or ashamed about. Well done Willow & Everett. PS: Willow & Everett, if you ever decide to test out a shallower collar in a future version, I volunteer to be a beta tester!

Definitely worth purchasing!
This is a great product! Performed exactly as it was illustrated in the video. I would recommend this product to anyone who was looking for a teapot with a infuser. Enjoy!

Willow & Everett come through for me!
I love this new cute little teapot! It can go into the microwave for heating or re-heating your tea. But it comes with a black cozy that fits snuggly around the pot. I thought it might be hard to put on but it slides easily through the handle & zips up the front. I had to post the pictures so you can appreciate the ease of use. I haven’t needed to reheat the tea unless it’s sat there for a very long time. If for some reason, you need to reheat the tea just pull the infuser out & take off the lid & lid sleeve. Then put it in the microwave, put the lid back on & zip it up. This is my first review for Willow & Everett. I am very happy with Willow & Everett and the Co-Owner, Camille, as she wrote to me to make sure I was happy with the teapot I had ordered and to personally thank me for the purchase. I let her know that there were some minor flaws in the teapot I received. They quickly wrote me back to apologize & let me know they’d do what it took to make me happy. If it was acceptable to me they’d send out a new replacement teapot immediately. They told me to just dispose of the flawed product. She went above & beyond to resolve the issues. I thought they’d ask for the teapot back but they didn’t, just pictures or a video of what was wrong in an email. Little did they know that I can’t get out to return things, so I am delighted with the service & the replacement teapot. I received the new teapot in days not weeks. They make a great product and have a fantastic customer service department. I won't hesitate to buy from them again.

For me it was a great purchase.
Everything except the cozy is glass or steel so it cleans and dries quickly. It is small enough to be put away easily and nice enough looking to leave out. I don't use loose tea, but the infuser makes tea bags easier to handle. It should work well with loose tea as well, the holes are really fine, but numerous enough to allow free flow. For me, the cozy keeps tea warm enough to get through a meal or just to drink a pot. Obviously, by the end you are drinking warm, not hot tea. The little knob on the steel lid is not insulated, so if you put the lid on while brewing, it will become uncomfortably hot to the touch. So be careful. I also use this pot to make ice tea since the glass pitcher I bought for that had a fine print warning, "Not for hot beverages." It works great for that, and I do it fairly frequently. You might want to know that I primarily drink coffee so I might not look at things the same way as a tea connoisseur.

Rust after 4 uses, questionable quality
Rust in lid after 4 uses. There's a knob that you have to screw into the lid using the provided screw. The condensation from brewing tea quickly formed rust around the screw. The glass feels sturdy, not too delicate. No drips when pouring. But the metal pieces - lid, strainer, inner ring - feel questionable in its quality for my health. And since this is something that's going to be regularly steeped in boiling water, that's a hard pass for me. I'm returning not only due to rust on the screw (which i did just stop using the lid and teapot worked fine) but also due to the overall uneasiness of materials used to make the whole thing. I'm going to find a better quality pot and spend a little more money. It's too bad cause it really had all the things I was looking for in a teapot.
