LEGO Star Wars 75014 Battle of Hoth

Lego Star Wars 75014 is a great set. It includes enough pieces to build and stage a convincing battle on its own. Newer Star Wars Legos of similar list price often do not. Add an "out of print" discount, and this set was an incredible bargain. My eleven year-old son built everything to spec within a couple of hours, then got his older brothers, and their Star Wars Legos, involved in a full out recreation of the Battle of Hoth that lasted for a couple of days. In the video game era, that is quite an accomplishment for a non-electronic toy. He has since re-built the set to "Tatooine" standards, as part of a personal "Return of the Jedi" construction project. Bravo, Lego; this one was a winner.

As expected. It complements the AT-AT set, the Wampa set and the Hoth Base set. This set has the most number of mini figures of the Hoth collections, which makes an excellent choice to have a cool recreation of the Hoth battle

This was for my nephew for Christmas. Amazon beat the other stores pricing and I didn't have to fight any crowds. My nephew was excited to get it and has already put it together.

This set retails for $49.99, not $99.99. Do not pay over $50 for this set, it is a ripoff. There are several new LEGO sets with the wrong prices on Amazon. Generally speaking, a 400 piece LEGO set is in the $50 range while an 800 piece set is $100. This set is in the new LEGO catalog listed at $49.99 and I saw it at Target for the list price.When buying NEW LEGO sets, a set is typically priced at 10 to 14 cents a brick. Yet Amazon has this set listed at $99.99 which would be 23 cents a brick. m

I thought it was a bigger set and was way over priced

Great classic set based on a classic moment of Star Wars. My son loved the set and the Wompa is a great addition.

The thing about Lego products, you know it's gonna be great. Kid tested, Kid approved.I grew up with Star Wars, so it's great the I can relate to the next generation via kids games!

Great combination of good guys, bad guys and assmebly. I don't any other kit can match in this line of products
