This racket is not for the people who have just started the sport (absolute beginners). Its for those who already are comfortable in playing table tennis. As this racket is much faster than basic entry level rackets.I am a casual / recreational player and I have played with basic entry level racket for atleast 3 years. My earlier racket was too slow but I was still able to do top spin. After getting this one, I thought I have got myself way too fast racket as all my shots were going off the table initially. But after couple of sessions I got adjusted to it some how. I am able to play more aggressively but more effort is needed to control the ball. It was too fast for me because of my past experience. It will not be fast for the players who already are using fast blades. Its actually good racket for the players who want to speed up their game from beginner level to intermediate level.Lastly, the smell problem definitely exists. Its a severe bad smell from the handle. I used lot of scents on the handle but still the smell just don't go away. After about a week the smell is now reduced and I think it will go away in few more days.As far as rubbers peeling off is concerned (as some others are saying). I have not come across this problem in the first week atleast (played 4 hours in full week) . Let's see for how long rubbers will remain intact.Overall I am satisfied with this racket, it seems it's a good one to improve & fine tune your skills
