IT WORKS!!!!
I was absolutely SHOCKED this repels flies and aphids.I have poultry (rescued - I do not eat them) and organic plants thus I cannot use the quick cancer causing pesticides and herbicides. Never mind I have autoimmune disease which research shows pesticides helps people get autoimmune diseases.I love the way this smells but it will make you hungry. I also use food grade diatomaceous earth as it kills and I also use good bugs (nematodes that cause parasites in flies and mosquitos but do not affect worms). I think the negative reviews are from people wanting or used to knock out pesticides. This DETERS, not kills. Thus, the flies will go elsewhere but if you have not sprayed your entire outdoor area then the area not sprayed will have flies.Even though the seller states not to use indoors, I have with no problems. I attempted to mix these ingredients myself but it did not work. I used all organic oils, which cost way more then this product, but there is something else that makes their product work. Just like some name brand medicines will work much better then the generics. There mixture works phenomenally well at repelling.I have many Ferrel cats that do not mind the smell so this is definitely safe even with the cedar oil as they will lay where I just sprayed with no affects. I was hoping the cats would leave or at least not lay where I spray.

seemed to work
okay, so the product does smell like garlic but it doesn't come into the house. it just smelled a little garlicky in the garage for a couple weeks but no more. better to have a garlic smell than nasty chemical cancer -causing smell. we were looking for something more natural but wasn't sure it would work. nothing, i mean, nothing would get the ants in our kitchen to go away. the 1st time we sprayed this, the ants were still there but a coupel days later, we sprayed more of it and literally.. in a couple days.. the ants were GONE. nada, nothing! ants never came back! it wasn't change of season so the only thing that would've made the ants go away was the garlic smell, lol! dont' worry, you don't smell the garlic aroudn the house. we only smelled garlic in the garage b/c we kept teh spray can full of it in the garage but the smell went away...

Awful concentrated smell before adding to sprinkler system.
Got this about a month before adding to the tank, so it sat around for awhile. That month I had to keep moving the container because it stunk so bad. Very strong garlic odor. Was afraid when I added it to the sprinkler vat it would make the whole yard smell like that. Luckily I haven’t noticed the smell once it was added to the sprinkler system. Haven’t really been able to tell if it has affected the pests in the yard though so I can’t tell if it is working. It is pricey but might try it again to see how it works. One container’s worth appears to last three months provided that the sprinkler vat system is working properly.

Moderately effective, but smelly.
I use this product to spray on screens to an outdoor deck. We live near a pond and the bugs are attracted to the deck screens. To prevent the bugs from getting inside the deck through a swinging screen door, I spray the product, properly diluted, on the screens. It works for about a day until the bugs decide that the smell is acceptable. But I make sure to spray the screens an hour before company arrives. The smell is foul. Even the sealed up can of concentrated liquid smells right through the plastic. Also, I make sure the wind is favorable, or I need to change clothes and take a shower after spraying.

WELCOME TO GARLIC AND PEPPER HAIVEN
If you like the overwhelming smell of garlic and pepper mixed, go for it. The upside it does work great and getting rid of insects. downside is because it is organic it does go away faster than actual poison. But if you have animals like us, it is a must have since you do not want to use chemicals on grass they may eventually nibble on.

It is strong and hopefully you like the smell of garlic for a day or two
I just finished the first treatment (1.5acres). It seems to help, but I realize we need to keep treating and allow it to build up. It is strong and hopefully you like the smell of garlic for a day or two :) We are contemplating getting a sprayer for the 4 wheeler. Walking with a one gallon sprayer took about 2.5 hours. We'll see :) I am really conscious of honey bees so this is great option. We also live 100 yards from a river on one side of our property, so lots of mosquitos. They're brutal, really.

but the smell is like a smashed garlic tree
Mosquito and people repellant ;)I have much less mosquitos in my yard (it was terrible)I put it in the tank next to my water pump for the sprinklers with other products such as grass so green and something for the rust. It works, but the smell is like a smashed garlic tree , it stinks, but much less mosquitos!

Easy to use
The American Hydro system is a really easy to use system. Just pour the solution into the tank and the irrigation system does the rest. Whether it actually repels insects is open to debate. I hope it does.
