Anything you need this stand to do... it'll do for you. I use it for lights because of the height I get with it but I have also put speakers on it and hoisted those babies WAY up there.. I love these stands! If you need something HEAVY duty.. and I mean.. these are NOT light... this stand is what you're looking for!!

Overall excellent. Wish they were lighter. They are quite heavy compared to my other stands. Only reason for 4 stars is weight.

I use this to mount a projector for our church (we use a school gym). It's easy to set up and holds the 20lb projector securely. It's not very stiff (i.e. you can cause it to sway a little if you bump it), but it is safe.

Nice sturdy stand. I will definitely be getting more.
