Saw on YT and found it here. Makes thin marks, holds plenty of color, holds its shape but can make other shapes with pressure. I bought a 6 because I paint smaller, but am considering an 8 ....pretty pricey for a synthetic, but worth it!!

Great mop brush. Keeps a nice tip and loss of water for washes. Could be used as a single brush. This one is much better than my Raphael #2 softaqua. Buy it you’ll love it!

Great brush. Holds a ton of paint and water. It blends the paint perfectly on paper. Has a nice sharp point. This is my first quill brush and I’m still learning exactly how it’s used but so far I’m really enjoying it.UPDATE: so it’s been awhile since I’ve bought this brush. I’ve learned a lot and this brush is my #1 favorite!! The number #2 quill is perfect for my fondness of painting on a smaller scale. I also have the size 0 and these two brushes are my go to’s. The paint has chipped from below the ferrule but in my opinion it gives the brush character. The bristles of the brush still perform perfectly well. I’ve certainly gotten my money from these brushes and wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again if ever needed.

I saw a bunch of people doing instruction in watercolor on YouTube using this style of brush and wanted to try one. I was happy it was synthetic not only because the natural ones cost so much but I just like synthetic brushes in general. Anyone who paints with watercolor or ink should have one -they just do a lot of stuff other brushes don't, in particular they hold a lot of paint and are extremely expressive. If you're serious about getting better skills these are great. Addendum: A month down the line, I use the brush with some acrylic ink and forget to wash it. Then I pick it up and my heart sinks -I've ruined it. I decided to try and wash it, although I was sure it was ruined. Some hand soap and careful rubbing and it's 100%. Amazing.

It is a beautiful and super soft brush, great for watercolor. Got sent the size 8 at first but returned it without problems for the correct size I ordered.Fits in the hand comfortably.Value for money is fairly comparable.Holds a wonderful amount of water and paint.I've used it now a few times. Really wanted a larger round brush for various work and took a chance on this brush. My only complaint is the tip. When dry, really fluffs out as expected, most round brushes don't always keep their pointed shape when dry. However, it spreads out just a tad too much when using it wet on the paper (with just the slightest bit of pressure too). I suppose I could just have a heavy hand... or I could have ordered the wrong series brush too for my needs, which is quite possible. But oh well. It's a nice, synthetic brush, so I'll keep it and find a use for it.I didn't want a quill, have enough of those, just wanted a nicely tipped larger round that'll keep a point when wet.I gave it 4 stars as it's still a beautiful brush and I'll just keep trying to paint with it to get used to it.

This has become the brush I am reaching for the most. Love that it holds so much paint and retains that tip! Wonderful tool and so well worth the price. I'll be purchasing more over time. Thank you!

I’ve searched far and wide for the perfect brush—one that feels like an extension of my hand, holds its tip, has a large water carrying capacity that won’t dump it all at once on the paper, and has a smooth feel on the paper. This is it! It outperforms even my expensive kolinsky sables. I own the #0, #2, and #4 Casaneo quills. Between those three I don’t really need any more brushes and I mainly use the #0 and #2. I never thought a synthetic would outperform a natural hair brush until now. Now I’m not sure what to do with all the rest of my brushes that I never use!

This is truly a next level synthetic squirrel brush. Well worth the price. I've already ordered the smaller sized mottler brush in this series. Bristles are incredibly soft and brush delivers crisp consistent washes. Holds a remarkable amount of water for a synthetic brush. The only issue I noticed was an initial shedding of bristles, but i've noticed it much less after using the brush a few times. I highly recommend this line of brushes. This one, the size '50', is just slightly under 2" width.

Tenho vários pincéis Da Vinci, linha Casaneo. Eles são imitação de pincéis de pelo animal que retêm muita água, mas são sintéticos. Esse em especial, cumpre o que promete. Excelente para aquarelistas que usam tintas profissionais. O número zero para amarradinhos não são extremamente finos, como o número parece. Tenho outros 0/10 que são grandes para o que uso. Obrigado.

Excelente pincel.

O pincel é bem macio, puxa muita água e pigmento. Pinceladas bem consistentes e é de fácil controle.O vendedor é muito cuidadoso c o envio. Recomendo.

Estupenda calidad, tienes la tranquilidad de no matar animales porque es imitación pelo natural, pero funciona como si fuera pelo de verdad. El vendedor (Pinceles y Mas, de CDMX) fue muy cuidadoso de envolver el pincel sin dañar el pelo, lo cual siempre es un problema cuando se compra un pincel desde lejos.

Pincel perfeito para as aguadas nas minhas aquarelas. Amei!!!
