Delicious licorice! I really like the taste of these pipes. I'd give them 5 stars, but they are smaller than I thought they'd be, and for a licorice lover, they disappear fast!

My ex loves the real, black-tar like licorice that he used to get in a candy store in Canada as a kid. It's hard to find pipes anywhere but here on Amazon that are the right kind. I've been buying them for him for Christmas for years and I still do (amicable divorce). He loves them. They are not that shiny plastic-like licorice you get here in stores (Twizzlers etc). I don't like licorice of any color, but he says these are what he remembers from childhood.

I have ordered these a couple of times now for my mom for her birthday. She is 92 years old and loves her licorice. Especially good licorice, so I like to spoil her with good licorice instead of those Twists she buys herself. When I travel, I have gotten her licorice in France, Holland, anywhere I have been. But to be honest, these things are better than all the rest. They deliver a nice full licorice flavor and I love the texture of the pipes - just the right combination of soft and chewy. I also ordered a 2 lb. box of licorice wheels by the same seller. Those are wonderful too! Plus, the nice black and white tuxedo boxes they come in are a bonus. These are about $1 each and so worth it for a nice little treat!

The flavour is good but the texture is very different from the traditional pipes. It was good to have something to remind me of a product that is no longer available.

AMAZING, we ate the entire box in 3 days. Won’t be ordering them any time soon because they are way TOO GOOD. Can’t leave them alone!!! For what they cost, pricey!

Ever since my favorite old fashioned licorice cigars were discontinued, I have been searching for a good replacement and in my opinion.....this is it! I love that they are individually wrapped so they stay fresh longer than the ones I used to get! They taste very very similar to the ones I needed to find a replacement for. The price is pretty high so I will have to ration myself 😢 but at least when I really need that black licorice fix, I have a decent supply on hand! The shipping was speedy! I could see me buying more of these at some point depending on the price.
