This is a very tiny shelf that will only hold very tiny light weight things. Please read the description details when ordering so you are not surprised and disappointed. I wanted something sturdy to separate my purses on the top shelf of my closet. The shelf in place is of the same material as this product. I ordered 2 units giving me a total of 60 inches.. All I had to do was put the shelves into place on the backboard and lay it flat on my closet shelf. The horizontal shelves are now vertical (upright) and keep the purses separated very well. I only had 59 inches of space so we did have to saw 1 inch off of one unit. No big deal.

Love this shelf unit! It is small, but mighty. I am using it beside my recliner to hold my “stuff”. Mounted it 16” off the floor. Currently it is holding measuring tape, air pods and book light on bottom shelf, my current read, kindle, and sketch pad on second shelf, pens and bookmark on third shelf, Quan Yen on the fourth shelf, and colored pencils in glass on top shelf. Everything is in reach. It is sturdy, but the bottom of the “spine” is not anchored. Two screws at top, nothing at bottom, so push it, and it will sway. (That’s the 4 stars). Other than that, excellent purchase for the little things in life, you need by your side.

Oh my, there is no zero stars, how unfortunate. One star is grade inflation. I have put stuff together before but I had almost no chance to make this work. This was worthless and I returned it. The screws were to big for the holes drilled and probably too big for the wood period. I cracked three of the shelves before I gave up. The holes did not line up, so 2 of the shelves were mounted crooked enough that they were unusable anyway. :) After the first one cracked I tried partially screwing the screw in to the holes without mounting it first, to make the holes a little bigger but that didn't work either. If you insist on building it I would buy smaller screws and drill your own holes through the spine, that way you can guarantee the shelf will be level and maybe not crack. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it either.

this product was way to expensive for how teeny tiny it is! complete SCAM! $130 for a tiny piece of wood i could probably of just cut down from a tree myself! OUTRAGEOUS!

The shipping wrap was very frustrating to remove. Once I got it all off I was was pleased with the quality and ease of installation

Its nice and elegant. Im using it instead of night stand on the othe side of bed.
