What a show!
The Pay Per View was one of the best of the year. It was also in my opinion one of the greatest Summerslam's of all time. The only complaint as usual are the lack of Extras on the DVD. If you like WWE and did not buy the Pay Per View, I'd buy the DVD.

The culmination of the hottest angle of the summer
It was the PPV where all the things had to be settled: which champion between CM Punk and John Cena can be called legitimate ? Well, you would get really amazed by the surprising outcome of this war

Good
It was a good DVD because Big Show and Mark Henry broke the ring. Very entertaining and fun to watch.

WWE Summerslam 2011 :)
WWE Summerslam 2011 review:The Miz, R Truth & Alberto Del Rio vs Kofi Kingston, John Morrison & Rey Mysterio: ****A great six man tag opener, with six top talented WWE superstars.Sheamus vs Mark Henry: ****A great battle between the Worlds Strongest Man, and the Celtic Warrior. One of the key highlights of the match to watch out for is when Mark Henry slams Sheamus into a corner part of the fan barricade.Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix: **A divas match for the WWE Divas Championship. which is okay but not great.Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett: ****A really good one on one match up between Barrett and Bryan. I was really quite impressed with how these co-ordinated the perfect pay-per-view matchup.Randy Orton vs Christian: *****A no holds barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship, with it stealing the show by two of the greats in Orton and Christian.CM Punk vs John Cena w Triple H as special guest referee: ****A main event for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Both CM Punk and John Cena had great chemistry at Money in the Bank in Chicago, and now in Los Angeles we get the same kind of treatment all throughout, along with some surprises towards the end.

Must-see, must-own SummerSlam!
Following on from the overall perfection of Money in the Bank, SummerSlam 2011 features yet another blistering match-up between John Cena and CM Punk with the Undisputed WWE Championship hanging in the balance, and Triple H as the special guest referee! Although not quite the unmissable spectacle that their classic was the previous month, Punk and Cena again tear the house down for thirty minutes with some of the best wrestling you'll ever see.Everything else on the card ranges from very good to downright excellent. Match-of-the-night honours belong to Randy Orton and Christian who conclude their classic series with a violent, brutal and mind-blowing No Holds Barred match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Of all the magnificent in-ring showings these two have provided in 2011, THIS collision surpasses them all.Like Money in the Bank, SummerSlam is an essential show, with its consistency being so high. A six-man tag team opener and Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barret are truly excellent wrestling bouts, and even Sheamus vs. Mark Henry and the Divas' Title bout (featuring Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix defy expectations, turning out to be VERY GOOD bouts. Truly another WWE pay-per-view to own forever! For the SECOND-STRAIGHT-MONTH!

WWE does it again...
After one of their best pay per views in Money in the Bank 2011, WWE delivered once again with their 2011 edition of SummerSlam. While the WWE Championship match with John Cena vs CM Punk isn't as good as their Money in the Bank match (or even their Night of Champions 2012 and Raw February 25th 2013 matches) it is still a very good match, though the aftermath was questionable especially when WWE never properly followed it up.Randy Orton and Christian however have probably their best match in their series for the World Heavyweight Championship, while Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett have a very underrated match. The Divas Championship match between Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly was better than expected and the opening 6 Man Tag Team Match was a great way to start the show.To conclude, this is one of WWE's better SummerSlam in recent years along with 2008 and 2013.

Pretty good show. Some great matches here.
On the whole, there's some really memorable stuff on Vengeance 2011. While most of the card is merely decent, there are some really outstanding matches, such as the Tag Title & Diva's matches (both of which are really good affairs). The World Heavyweight Championship Match between Mark Henry and the Big Show is a devastating showdown, complete with a wicked finish! The main-event between Alberto Del Rio & John Cena is a great match, made all-the-more remarkable by the fact that they don't even have a RING to compete in!Not as mandatory as Money in the Bank 2011, but still pretty good. Worth a watch.

Great show..but maaaaan, what a dead silence crowd1
It must have been an odd show to put on with this almost embarrising silent crowd. The John Cena vs Alberto del Rio match is almost the only time where the crowd comes a bit to life. Not even with the suddenly abruptly interruption of the main event the crowd only reacts half hearted. (althoug, it was kind of expected, the interruptions, so maybe therefor the crowd was'nt into it fully).Other than that, an okay show that has some highlights.. not really bad matches, yet nothing 5 star quality too. But definetly one to own if you collect.
