In the past I've had much better, tried this brand and dosent seem like it's as effective, still bleeding after useGreat company they replaced mine with another type and gave me a complimentary shave cream that is excellent. Can't find company's like this anymore. I will shop with them from now on. They are a company with values!

Love the product stick itself and have used it several times. Works as quick as you would expect. The design of the case, however (specifically the holding piece) is to be desired though. It is not attached to the bottom holder piece and comes off every time. I just dump it out onto my hand and use it without the holder, and then wash my hands afterwards. Other than that, I got what I expected.

I always hated getting those small nicks while shaving... not because they hurt, but because of stains. This gentleman shopping at Walgreens was looking for a "shaving stick"... he had to explain to people what it was because they were all lost. Luckily, I had the opportunity to use one in boot camp back in the 90s so I assured him he wasn't crazy and they didn't sell it there, but I found it on Amazon and had him order one as well as get one for myself while at it. Maybe it's just the nostalgia, but I do find this very useful to keep your neck from unnecessarily bleeding onto your nice clothes. There may be a slight "tickle" (slight burn) similar to some aftershave, but for the money I cannot think of a better product

The stick does a good job of clotting bleeds quickly. I'd like to give this product a great review, but I am very off-put by the fact that the stick was unglued and broken upon arrival. The case that it comes in is very nice and certainly keeps the stick well-contained, but my unglued and broken stick just rattles around in it, leading to faster crumbling of the product. It would be nice if I was able to pull off the cap and use it as intended. For these reasons, I've given it 3 stars for ease of use. The stick itself is very scratchy- crystalized. Once run under water, it softens quite a bit, but I noticed that the stick begins to quickly dissolve. Because of that, I've changed the way I used it to only use it dry, so minus one star for softness.

Works great if you nick yourself. My husband is on blood thinners, and it stops any cuts he may have quickly. Definitely a must for your medicine kit.

I like the black cylinder case. Works well.

This product broke into three pieces within a few weeks of my purchase. It is an ordinary styptic pencil but far too thin and flimsy for ordinary use. I would never buy it again.
