Works great! In my review I've outlined why the comb works well and also a tip for those of you who may have trouble getting your hair to stay teased! I have thick "heavy" hair and it's very hard to get it to hold after teasing, even with ample amounts of hairspray...it just wouldn't stay. I learned a new technique a while back which was to tease the hair, spray it underneath at the root, and then immediately use your hairspray can to wrap the hair partially around(this would also be underneath at the root) and this helps to sort of "freeze" the hairspray and your teased section of hair in an instant. The first two steps were obvious, but the hairspray can trick really does work! At first I was combining that technique with a regular fine tooth comb. There was improvement, but it still didn't work that well and plus I broke my old comb in the process. Here's where the salon chic comb made the difference. It's so sturdy, it definitely will not break on you while teasing your hair. It has a smooth surface, so it glides through the hair with ease and the two different comb lengths and widths, seem to be a great combination. If you have trouble getting your hair to stay "fluffed" up after teasing, give this comb and my above mentioned technique a try, you'll be thrilled! Another little tip is that Loreal's Root Boost Creation spray works wonders! It gives volume to your hair instantly, without having to blow dry it or do anything too time consuming. This is a great product to add to your teasing routine. All of these things combined works for me, at least...hopefully for some of you as well!

OK, so I remember in the 80s I actually had a tap teaser comb. I really liked that comb to get the big hair that was the 80s style. I was actually looking for that, when I came across this one. This one appeared to be nice and sturdy so I purchased it. It works great. Teases just right without causing the hair to tangler and mat up. It’s nice and durable. It feels very sturdy not cheap.

Good quality teasing comb. Does what it’s supposed to do. Reasonably priced.
