I’m a baker by profession, which means I work with my hands and they get pretty banged around on a daily basis. I recently took up doing dip powder manicures at home as a hobby and my job puts my nails up against all the elements: heat, cold, sharp objects, heavy lifting, lots of hand washing. All of the worst conditions for keeping a long lasting manicure.I bought this base/top coat set (based on their reputation for durability) along with a few other brands (including Modelones) trying to find my personal preference. Cons: The Venalisa set was on the higher end of the price point of all the brands I’ve tried (maybe twice as expensive as the Modelones set I purchased depending on the current deals available. Also the Venalisa brand goes on thickly unless you’re very mindful of your application. On the other hand… Pros: with the right prep and attention to application and curing, this brand goes on crystal clear with a high polish shine (think cut crystal sparkling compared to more basic glass like shine of some of the other brands I’ve tried). And it sets rock hard.This top coat stands up to 3-4 weeks of constant stress with no dulling of the shine, no chips or peeling. Worth every penny, the best hands down! 💅

I was on the prowl for a good gel polish that came in a bigger bottle than the other more popular brands. Previously, the gel polish sets of colors I purchased from other brands, while decent, weren’t perfect — for such tiny little bottles, it’s not sustainable to have to do 4-5 coats for complete opacity with such a little amount of product because they’d only last for maybe two or three sets and application was never as smooth as I wanted. It got to a point where I had to start tipping the bottle upside down over the nail to let the paint drip out and then use the applicator brush to spread the paint; massive waste of time.I wish I found this brand sooner. While buying multiple would have been much more money than what I spent on the brands that sell sets of 5-15 polishes, I’d say it’s definitely worth it for these ones. I got the color Nude Pink and while I was a little skeptical because the color was a tad darker than the swatch in the product photo, I’m overall extremely happy with the outcome. I did 2 coats just to test it out and honestly, 1 coat is enough for full opacity. Even still, 2 coats was perfect. I’m so impressed.The polish went on incredibly smooth. It can be a little thick, but I didn’t mind that as it was self leveling; this was definitely the smoothest my nails have ever been, no bumps or anything and because it was only 2 coats, went by very fast. I did cure each coat a little longer just because of the thicker viscosity of the polish to ensure it was fully cured — 90 seconds for the first coat, 120 seconds for the second coat with another 120 seconds for top coat. Came out beautifully!Again, I really wish I found these sooner. I’ll be purchasing more colors in the very near future!

Nail tech did a Great job with the Nail design for the spring season and this nail color is beautiful 😍. So far so good. I will be buying more Colors.. The Nail Polish is a bit strong(Scent) wise only when applying after that it’s ok.. only had the color for 2 days hopefully it doesn’t peel off like my last nail polish from a different brand that I bought from Amazon

It brushes on smoothly, not runny. Liked the final color look. I will say the pigment is light. I had to do 3 coats to get it this dark . I did 2 thin coats . Nuked for 60 to 120 seconds just to make sure it cures. The last coat I applied thickish just because there were small areas that still looked kinda splotchy . Like lighter areas, even though I gave it a good shake. But again the color is so nice so if you have the patience like I did to apply the coats then you are good .

Wow. I'm beyond impressed with this brand. The polish was everything I wanted it to be. It's gorgeous!!!! I mean gorgeous! The polish itself is smooth amd self levels quickly. I love the brush amd it applied smoothly and lovely. Im so impressed. I'll be back for more colors

Very pigmented. Nice quality. Goes on smoth dries well.. Definitely a buy buy!!

The product itself is good but the color isn’t true to the photos at all. Good consistency and staying power, decent opacity. The brush lays the product on a little thick so I used my own but that’s just personal preference. My issue is the color bc it’s not at all like what’s depicted on in the product photos. It’s like a rosy, brownish mauve with an almost grey undertone rather than the rich brown in the images. Disappointing bc I’d been trying to find this color for awhile and had high hopes. It was so off that I double checked the item code a few times to make sure I hadn’t just received the wrong thing (JD38). Maybe I just got some from a weird batch. The other colors I bought were fine so idk.

It is a thick/ viscous consistency. I used my usual top and base coat with two coats of color, it started to peel after 2 days. I used this brand before and it usually stays for at least 2 weeks. I redid it with 3 coat, and it's not peeling or chipping.
