Good Tires
I bought my current mountain bike with a set of these tires on it and love the performance. For me, these tire offer the ability to ride the paved trails when I want and ride the dry mountain bike trails without changing to a full knobby for the wet conditions.

but would not recommend for use on rear
I got this kevlar tire to eliminate punctures from thorns riding in the woods in Massachusetts. Compared to the WTB Wolverine 2.2 x 29" ( WTB Wolverine Comp 29er Mountain Tire - BLACK, 29X2.2 , true 2.2 inch wide, that came as original equipment on my DiamondBack bike, this Clement tire is rounder and much thinner; dimensions should say 29 x 2.0 inch as the real width of the tire is 1.99 inch, OK for the front wheel, but would not recommend for use on rear, as the traction would lower.
