Add a little flair to your condensed milk recipes
My new favorite thing to cook with. The color is everything you’d want it to be and the taste is even better.

interesting addition to coffee
after developing an expensive habit drinking a nearby cafe's Ube lattes, I decided to attempt to start making my own. I found this product and it works pretty well for this purpose, since it is a condensed creamer - not too sickly sweet, but it does add creaminess. my only issue using it for this purpose is that it's VERY pigmented (a feature they clearly state in the description) - opening the can, it looks almost like tar. it would be perfect if the ube flavor was a little bit stronger, that way you could use less if you aren't a fan of how heavily dyed it is. i'm just going to let everyone think for a moment about what the inside of your body looks like after consuming something dyed so heavily that it looks like tar and the consequences of that (lol). however, it does exactly what it says and if you're okay with a little bit of an artificial flavor so you can get ube flavored foods, this stuff does work great.for anyone curious, i would mix my 20oz latte with a spoonful of this stuff (sometimes less depending on the mood..) and it would be dark purple. tasted great though!!

AT HOME UBE LATTE
I work at a boba/ cafe shop and I have worked at Dunkin before so I have always been a barista!(coming from a barista) I used 16oz clear plastic cups that come in a set and I measured the Ube creamer out by using just the bottom line of the cup (it was perfect!) I paired this with Starbucks(decaf) expresso pods and once it brewed I put in the brewer cup/expresso shot (SPECIFICALLY FOR HOT EXPRESSO DON'T USE A REGULAR GLASS/METAL CUP) i then had a shaker cup that goes to 700cc and i shook the expresso along with oat milk (vanilla flavoured) for a total of 1 min , to cool off the expresso . then i put ice inside the cup i have of ube (clear 16oz cup) and then i put the express x oat in there and i mixed them and it was an amazing ube latte, along with a slight sweet but bitter flavour(pairing was amazing) i suggest doing the"lungo" expresss technique as if you do the regular youll mostly have ube flavoring and a huge amount of oats! for me, i like having a balance of all 3.(hope you enjoyed this slight recipe and this review in detail)

This caused me to cancel my prime membership
I ordered this Jan Sweet Cow milk for my grandmother. The price was approximately $26 or so for 2 cans. Which is an extremely high price for evaporated milk. When reading the description I misread that it said 12 cans instead of seeing that it said 12oz. Can. (Pack of 2).. due to the pricing I didn’t think to give s second look. I believed I was purchasing a pack of 12 cans so I ordered 2 packs for her. Once I received the delivery I noticed that there were only 4 cans total.. so I went online and tried to see when the rest would be delivered and it said package was delivered.. trying to figure out what was going on I ran back across the description and noticed that it said 12oz can pack of 2 instead of 12 pack… I immediately tried to return the product since and noticed that it was a non returnable item! I reached out to the seller to see if they could work with me somehow to make things right. I never received a reply. So, since Amazon not the seller will make things right I feel like his is a scammish type of interaction. There’s no way that 4 cans of evaporated milk should total $56+ dollars. It is my fault that I misread but it’s also overpowering for someone to list can milk for that price! For these reasons I canceled my prime membership to make up for that money. I won’t ever purchase from these people again and it kinda deters me from making any more Amazon purchases. Amazon let’s ANYONE sell on their platform.. as a former Amazonian I know that it’s more about money with this company than it is about the customer. Customers centric is a bit far stretched of a claim! Amazon may need to reconsider its claims! I could have claimed that the cans were damaged to make them give me a refund, but I’m not a liar and I don’t try to take advantage of people!

So much PURPLE
It came with a small dent but wasn’t leaking. It’s what’s on the inside that counts. It is EXTREMELY PURPLE. To the point where it tastes purple. I tried it straight from the can and the taste of dye was over whelming, couldn’t taste the ube at that point. I used a table spoon of it to make an ube matcha latte and it was a RICH ube purple for sure. Once I mixed the tablespoon of the ube condensed milk with some non dairy milk I could taste the Ube flavor but it definately could be stronger. The dye flavor was also next to not there but that could have been from the matcha. I would say that this product is better for the color payoff and maybe an ube extract would help in combination with it for flavor.

Great Substitute for Milnot
I decided to try this because it sounded like basically the same thing as Milnot, which doesn't seem to be available anymore. I love the famous Milnot cheesecake which many are familiar with, and I needed something to replace the Milnot in the recipe. I was a little nervous about buying this because it's a package of 12 and if it didn't work out, I'd be stuck with 11 useless cans. However, I'm delighted to say that the Sweet Cow worked perfectly and tasted great. This will be my new go-to for filled evaporated milk.
