This review is solely for the reishi from Four Sigmatic - I normally purchase their chaga and I LOVE it (if I could rate them separately I would give their Chaga a 5 and their Reishi a 2). In any case, I decided to 'branch out' and try their powdered reishi for my most recent order. The first few cups/packets were fine, but then on my 3rd or 4th cup it coagulated when I added milk to it and then I noticed a bug floating in it! Super gross and disappointing :/ I dumped it out and made another new cup which ended up being fine... Then, today, I made myself a cup of the reishi hot cocoa (I got it as a sample from the store) and I found another bug in it! I can only assume this means that a big batch of Four Sigmatic reishi got infested with bugs and it went out in numerous batches - so, beware if you're drinking their reishi right now. Additionally, I find their reishi to be surprisingly mild. This means the taste is a lot easier to handle, but it also makes me question the potency/quality, since that tends to be an indicator (at least with most brands). On a more positive note, their chaga really is fantastic and I would highly recommend it!

I really like this product, but at Four Sigma they really think that people buying this are super rich. i mean, over the past three months is has gradually increased in price a lot, i understand the demand, but come on. i buy it monthly as i work a normal job and can have a whole year supply. two months ago I paid £19 for a box, last month it was £23.65 and not it is £26.62? Like for real? if the price increase rate keeps inflating, with all the pain, i will not be able to afford it next month. Greedy four sigma, I see you.

Have suffered from ortho-anorexia due to lots of emotional trauma (usually briefly episodic)... some of the ingredients set me off.... Damn olfactory limbic system.....! Hahaha! I thought this product would taste different than what it actually tasted like. But it FEELS good... and not emotionally, but, you know, physiologically... Yeah... physiological-psychological versus psycho-physiological! Meaning... sounds kind of weird the way I am describing it, but.. the healing nature of the whole food adaptogenic herbs in it... made me feel physiologically, well, thus, I psychologically feel well through a fixed interval of environment settings. I feel like this might cure my symptoms. Thank you FourSigmatic. Always believed in you as an amazing and integral Entity. I know sound a little childish and vulnerable in this review... but I hope it helps others that benefit from health conscious lifestyles.
