Have a pair that I pack in my backpack when I travel. Takes hardly any room, light weight yet of good quality. Very satisfied with the travel coat hanger.

I bought these for travel to keep on my suitcase but they added too much weight for me. They are very nice quality and compact.

Use it at work for my coat.

So, these would be great for taking camping or a situation where weight is not an issue. If you are looking for lightweight option where suitcase weight matters, go with plastic, not these. These will definitely hold up better than plastic counterparts, but are really heavy. Looked like lightweight aluminum, but no. Keeping, but will not use for intended purpose of minimalism travel.

These aren't ultra lightweight, and as others noted the hooks don't fit over standard closet rails, but they are convenient for packing and hanging up a shirt in a tent.

This hanger folds up into a very small rectangle which can easily be packed for travel. It unfolds into a strong hanger that can support jackets and other heavy garments to dry or hang up in a closet.

The hooks on these hangers do not fit standard closet poles. If you plan on using these for travel like I was, it won’t work in your hotel room or anything that’s basically not string or 1/2” pipe - maybe you could find a suitable branch on a tree too.
