I picked this one because of the 3 different plates that can be used with the ricer. I haven't tried 2 of them, but am looking forward to it. The handles don't pinch my hands like those that don't have the extra piece fitted to them. I have many gnocchi filled days ahead!

This was the first time I had used a potato ricer. It made the job easier and faster while allowing the potatoes to remain warm. No lumps, only smooth, uniform potatoes all. Wished I had one sooner. I use this as a press for making almond milk and it is amazing! After mildly sqeezing out the milk from my nut milk bag I place the bag with the almond pulp into the ricer with the smallest hole plate in place and squeeze out far more milk than when I was doing the whole process by hand!It's constructed very well - I don't feel like it will break or get damaged when putting a lot of force into it. Very solid. And the capacity is great because it fits a cup of almond pulp no problem.The 3 options of hole plates is really nice so you can choose which is best for your purpose and also makes it really easy to clean because the plate isn't attached and there aren't any tight corners to scrub.

It worked ok, but the disc at the bottom doesn’t always stay where it should when using it.

Best potato ricer ever. I will never again use a mixer , my family loved the mash potatoes :)
