Minecraft (PS4) If you, like me, have been a human being for the last few years (or more) then you will undoubtedly know/played/heard of Mojang’s Minecraft. A fun to play sandbox game that gives players the ability to build and craft whatever they wish, be it a structure to survive against monsters, or perhaps just let their creative mind do as they please while not having the threat of annoying monsters or other human players for that matter.I won’t go into what the game is about, because as I’m sure you’re aware, everyone knows what happens in this game.So what’s changed? That’s the most important thing isn’t it? As there’s more power available to players on the console, viewing is distanced dramatically.For example, can’t see that mountain the distance? You can now. Can’t see that skeleton shooting you? You can know etc. But other than that, it’s just that the graphics are smoother and that the worlds are a lot bigger.That’s it though, nothing’s changed, it’s still multiplayer and split-screen and single player, the replay value is high but at the same time for perfectionists it’s quite low. Once you’ve got your trophies you can move onto the next game and never look back at Minecraft. But the trophies are next to impossible to achieve, such as play 100 days online; no thanks Mojang; good luck next time.To sum up, nothings changed unless you’re really anal about what games you play, and if you’re an eight year old boy; then well this game is perfect for you to spend 100 days of your life on and never regret… Minecraft (PS4)

I like Minecraft and I got the PS4 version hoping it would be good, and it kind of is and kind of isn't. If you the viewer/shopper will take a minute to read this then I hope this will help you decide whether this is worth it. I'm not reviewing the game itself however I am reviewing this port:The delivery was cheap and came two days early (that depends who you buy it from).Let's start by saying that the control is easy to get in to and has tutorial mode if needed.The menus are arranged nicely and works efficiently.It has an automated crafting menu to make it easier and faster, you can switch to classic PC crafting if preferred.You can set up privacy and world settings to your preference.As of early 2016, It has most of the stuff that the base game PC version has*Let's get to the negative points:The skin, texture and mash up packs cost a fortune considering their quality. The annoying thing is that there is a lot more on PC for free!The game keeps glitching, lagging out and crashing even if you have extremely good internet and reset the database to optimise performance.As of early 2016, some trophies don't work so you can't earn the platinum trophy if desired.The good and bad points cancel each other out to create a port of Minecraft that is ok, but not worth the money. Just get the PC port if you can, You don't need a high tech computer, and keyboard and mouse is easy to get into to.The PC version has always been the best version and always will be.I would NOT recommend buying this or any other external port.I would only buy this if you really want to but don't expect anything better.That was my experience though, I hope it is better for you if you buy it.Thanks if you read this!

The game was shipped in a very timely manner just as promised. The disc itself was packaged securely with padding and it doesn’t have a single scratch on it! The only complaint I can see somebody having is that it doesn’t come in the original case but unless you’re a collector that probably won’t be a problem. This is definitely a must buy if you want an affordable physical version of Minecraft for the PlayStation😊
