Sphero Ollie Android and iOS App ControlLED Robot

We purchased this for Christmas, but shortly after receiving, the tire treads ripped. We already have two older models that have held up for years, so not sure why they switched the treads to a seemingly inferior material. But the seller went above and beyond and gave us our money back as soon as we shipped it.

Pretty fun toy. It’s just a bit annoying reorientate once it loses direction. Plan to do this a lot after tricks.

Worked well the first few times it was used, but didn’t last. Now it won’t even run the demo. Not as rugged as the manufacturer leads you to believe.

The rubber tires were split and ripped right out of the package. My son still loves driving it with out them, but it was very disappointing this happened the day we opened it. I wouldn’t recommend as giftable since it arrived like this. It does work well with the ios phone system. I have reached out to seller only last night so I am still waiting for a reply.

If this thing could go in reverse i feel like it would be a lot better. Getting stuck against a wall can be annoying. Recently purchased the add on tread for outdoors. Makes driving on carpet indoors not very much fun not enough power to get moving easily. Which is strange because in trick mode this thing seems to have all the torque you could ask for. when driving though you can get stuck on the corner of a sock. With enough patience and practice you can make Ollie do very well.
