Although the word compostable is used in the description, this product does NOT meet ASTM D6400 Spec or BPI Certification and cannot be used for municipal industrial composting services. Misleading.

I love these bags. My only issue is when I actually tried to take it out of the trash can, my finger kept ripping through the bag, I had to figure out a better way to get the bag out without ripping it. Just use your whole hands, not just your fingertips and all should be good!

I bought these as a replacement for the plastic bags in which groceries are usually delivered. I had previously used grocery bags to line my small trash cans around the house. Here in New Jersey, grocery stores can no longer supply bags; you have to bring your own reusable bags. So I purchased these. They are great for this application. When they first arrived, I was concerned that they might be too thin, but not one has torn so far. They are supposed to be biodegradable, which is positive for the environment. Overall, a good purchase and I have purchased more already.

Look no further - these are the best compostable trash bags I have ever tried. They are way better than all the rest. These are much thicker, longer, and stronger. The bags are long enough to fold over the top of the trash bin, so that the bag won't fall inside. And, they are very reasonably priced (significantly less expensive than the last two I tried).
