This book is awkward to use. Very small and not coil bound. I would not recommend it.

This is an ok book if you want the short cuts in candy making. I did not. But I know how to replace the package ingredients for home made so it will be better. I don't like that they say to use things like store bought caramels and melt them for the caramel in a candy recipe. I hate store bought caramels. I wanted a recipe for turtles, but from scratch. Ok, I have my own caramel recipe, so basically I will not actually use the recipe in the book for that. But since most people now days are looking for the quickest way cook anything, I suppose most will like this book. But for those few of you who want all from scratch, you may not be thrilled with this book.

I wanted an excellent fudge recipe. There must be 50 fudge recipes, like banana fudge, pineapple fudge, butterscotch fudge, etc. etc. They took some basic recipes and added lots of variations. It seemed like they were just trying to make a large book. I was really disappointed. I'm returning it and I don't return things very often.
