Long last but deep
Great feeder. Lasted for about 2 years before my guineas broke through the fence. Getting a new one but I found another feeder that looks promising just doesn't have pellet feeder just a hay feeder since my guineas like to pull out their hay and play with it and make a mess lol. The one I'm trying to get too has a nice mech to get all leftovers for hay out before changing again. The size is great and capacity is great too last my guinea pigs 2 days and I have four guinea pigs. The feeder for pellets is a bit deep but its easy to use for its size and looks I thought it was going to be cheap but it did last 2 years before it broke and my guineas ripped the cage apart. Cheap metal fence but last a while.

Had it for 4 Years and still great for ferrets!
This thing has lasted for 4 years with literally no wear and tear. It holds up great, has sturdy metal hooks and does its job where the animals cannot tip it and dump all of the expensive food out. Now we just got angora rabbits and I am about to buy more of these same ones because I spent a LOT of money on expensive bowls for our ferrets and this was the only one that does the job, our girl ferret still has this bowl in her cage! For any reviews you read about this looking 'worn or used' Please note, this is a super smart design made with wood and plastic so that its safer than most materials for when your pets, inevitably, chew on the bowl. All of the bowls will look different because they have pieces of wood in the plastic. Best feeder to buy and its cheaper than anything comparable you can find local. I went to two tractor/ outdoor farm stores today and could not find anything like it.

Excellent feeders but flimsy carabiners that you’ll need to replace
Use these as feeders for our rabbits. They’re high quality, sturdy, and just right size. However, plan to replace the flimsy metal carabiners they come with to snap onto the cage. They’re lightweight aluminum and the rabbits bent them on the first use.

Very Good Quality!
This is a great way to organize your hay and keep it tidy. I stuff the hay in all the way to the top and then put pellets in the bottom. Some of the hay will drop into the pellet area (especially when the hay is toward the bottom of the bag and has smaller pieces). I have two pigs so I have a separate pellet container as well, but I'm sure they can figure out there are pellets under the hay that has fallen. The hooks work very well on my C&C cage, and my pigs have never once tried to crawl into the hay bin. I bought this because of all the good reviews I read on it, and it is well worth the money. My pigs like to chew on the plastic as well but it is very tough and they can't make much progress.

Item needs modification
I love the sturdy structure of this feeder. But the hay rack on top is to small to be useful for my rabbits. So I pulled off the metal hay bracket and cut out the small plastic retaining wall that was under it. Next I cut a thin piece of wood, to fit exactly inside the metal rack (fitting snugly into the slots on both sides of the upper part of the feeder) but leaving a 1/2" gap at the bottom. I stapled the wire bracket to the board and mounted this into the feeder, snapping the metal latch over the top of the feeder, but leaving a 1/2" gap at the bottom. In effect, turning the wire rack into a solid wall with a gap at the bottom to let the pelleted feed slowly fall down into the "bowl" of the feeder. Finally, I mounted this modified feeder, inside the rabbit hutch, where I can reach it easily. Now I can put a quart of rabbit pellets into this feeder and they slowly fall into the bottom "tray" as the rabbits eat it. Plus, the rabbits cannot sit and poop in it and also no rain can get into it to spoil the feed.

Great hay holder
Great value for money. Cute natural green/hat color. Easy to set up in the bun house. Nice thick material and fits nicely inside the house. Stainless steel is durable and not cheap. Buns loved this for their hay.
