Not great, but gets the job done
I honestly do not have a ton of experience with saws, but found this one pretty easy to use. Yes, it feels a little cheap, but it's very light weight and compact, so easy to move around to where it's needed. Got a good bit of dust around the areas I was working, but nothing more than I was already expecting. Good for the weekend warrior, but professionals will likely want something a little more robust, as I'm not sure how it's going to handle a lot of use. Priced well and got pretty much what I was expecting, a middle of the road saw that is easy to use with good directions and mobile enough to move to different areas, small enough to store neatly, cuts well, and the final product was just what I needed it to be. Hope to have more projects to use it again with soon!

Continues to hold up after four years. Every once in a while I’ll use it and it works without issue.

Good saw for the money.
This is a good little tile saw. I used it to cut 3x6 glass tiles. As many have noted, the fence is a bit flimsy but it works. I used a combination square to true it up for cuts that had to be precise. The trick is to really hold it firmly when you tighten the nuts because the metal tabs that hold it to the rail wander while tightening. If you watch closely you can control the drift for perfect alignment.I like to buy refurbished items when I don't plan to use them that much, but in this case I should have dropped the extra few dollars for a new saw. The blade I received was used so some of the abrasive on the edges was already worn down. The saw itself was clean and in good working order so the blade I consider to be my fault for being cheap. One thing I learned is to set the rear of the fence just a hair wider (away from the blade) than the front of the fence (feed side) when I didn't need to be completely precise. Doing so prevents binding.Cutting glass throws tiny chips about 10 feet so I used it in my garage. I swapped shoes between the garage and the house which was tedious, but worth it when I saw how many of these tiny glass fragments were embedded in the soles of my shoes. The saw is not nearly as messy as I anticipated but it does wet the floor or tabletop. For my setup the "wet zone" was limited to about three feet around the saw.Lastly, the saw is lightweight and relatively small so for me it beats renting. At this price point you're not going to get the best wet saw out there, but for the money I'll give it five stars because the saw works very well if you pay attention to the fence.

Barely OK
I'd like to give this saw 2 stars due to shoddy design and broken plastic parts but since it completed the tile job I'll give it 3 stars. The main problem is the splash gaurd and the way it attaches to the saw. The screws included with the saw don't work and I'm not sure if you've every cut without a gaurd on but it's not really fun. I had to rig up a device to hold the gaurd in place, which was pretty lame. The saw did handle the job and for the $55 it's an OK deal. If you've only got 1 or 2 tile jobs to do, this saw is probably a decent bet, if you've got a lot of tiling ahead I'd suggest something higher up the scale.

You get what you pay for
I tiled my kitchen floor using this saw for all my cut pieces. I was using 8"x24" tile which is bigger then recommend for the saw. The saw did bog down on the long cuts but was able to cut everything, also had some chipping on the edge, but everything that was being cut was mostly going to be covered. Overall the tile saw preformed as expected. This is a small saw not to be confused with the bigger saws that professionals use. I'm sure this saw would preform just fine using small tiles.

Great buy!
Purchased for my husband. He loves it. He drilled 1in. holes in the guard (bottom) to allow water to flow through and to use a garden hose to refill and clean out debris. He stated either to do this or take off the guard completly as another review stated. Came with new blade he stated cost about 25 dollars which is half the cost of the saw. The fence does work, you must simply tighten it. He says others must not know what to do. Great for at home users. Take time to adjust top guard to keep over spray to minimum, it is a wet saw. Very quiet. A great buy for 50 dollars mine seem new.

Good tool for the price
I used this to cut backsplash tile. First time using a wet saw. First backsplash installation. It went fairly well. This tool kicks up a lot more water than I expected but I figured out I had to really monitor the water levels. For the size of my tiles and size of my workspace I didn't need to fill the reservoir to the max. My suggestion would be to not fill it to the max ever unless you don't care about making a wet mess. The tiles would chip off toward the end of the cut. I think that was due to cheap materials and possible a too wide of a blade. I was able to figure out how to account for these corner chips and completed my backsplash using this tool alone. I did not use the plastic guides. I couldn't figure out how to with pre webbed 12 inch tile sheets. So I drew a straight line on the tile and cut as fast as I could before the line got washed away. Not the best method, but it worked and tile turned out pretty good.

Great Value for Small Jobs - much cheaper than tool rental
Had a couple of small tile jobs and bought this vs renting a tile saw. Used it on top of my Black & Decker Workmate and cut file up to 3/8 in thick without issue. Guides were helpful for repetitive cuts, but it was easier to hand cut as the setup is a bit tedious. If you are cutting much larger tile, it will probably work, but you would need to build a bigger table to handle the pieces. Slight downside is it requires regular re-filling of water, sprays water all-over and requires periodic cleaning to get the tile sludge out. All worth It for the price and convenience of having a tile saw for sporadic work vs having to power through a job on the weekend because of the cost of a rental.
