BURTS BEES Illuminating Face Primer, 28.3 GR

When first applying this, I wasn’t expecting the amount of shimmer is in the product. I’m more of a natural skin look, type of person, so I was happy to see that it can’t be seen through foundation.If you like tacky and sticky primers….. it’s mildly sticky when it’s wet, but not at all when it’s dry. Although, when it’s dry, don’t try to apply more or move it around. Just trust me on that one.Since COVID, I don’t wear much liquid foundation and just apply powder foundation and this grips my powder foundation and keeps it there giving other the false illusion that it’s liquid. I also appreciate the formulae that allows me to add subtle contour to my face without causing steaks or weird blending. It just stays where it is.Obviously the lack of sticky or tacky isn’t for everyone, and the shimmer itself isn’t for everyone, so this is not for everyone….. but if you are like me, I’m sure you’d like it.

It is a very thin but shiny product. My skin glows using this primer only

I like Burts bees products This feels nice, comforting but a bit too much shine. I will use as highlighter only.

I’m 63 and like any products that gives a glow. This does and the primer part works well too. I can recommend this to you

Good for a light coverage look, shimmer is vida le and gives a nice glow. Probably will use in my day to day makeup but not for heavier usage as it makes foundation look slippery for long wear

I’ve been buying this product for years and loved it. It has such a glow. But this order (since Burt’s bees has been sold) this product is totally different. No gleaming shine and does nothing . I won’t be buying it again. Way to ruin Burt’s bees products.

I choose to grow old gracefully, wrinkles and all. I ordered this skeptically but was very pleasantly surprised. It was soft, moisturizing and very pretty on my older skin. It didn't settle in the wrinkles rather it melted the wrinkles away. It gave a soft sparkle and I received many compliments.

Very lovely product, Bert's bee's has been my favorite brand of cosmetic products for many years they NEVER disappoint. If you enjoy a light weight glowing boost to your skin then you will love this product. I put this on my face before I put on Bert's bee's other light weight cosmetics. 10/10

This is a nice product it’s not my favourite but it’s still really nice it is a bit thicker than I thought to be but it still works for especially if you have very sensitive skin

It is so moisturizing and feels light on the skin. The scent is very light and not overpowering. I think this is going to become a permanent in my makeup routine. I have tried so many primers before and they tend to make my skin oily or have a terrible smell but this one is great.

I used this and i loved how it hydrated my face and made it super naturally glowy, alittle goes a long away but i did release it does not apply smoothly under makeup it made my foundation cakey and seperate alot and my foundation on its own is a flawless application but woth this primer it seperated and made it look like i was wearing makeup. And the scent is horrible smells like like it tried to be sweet but isnt

Waste of money, unusable, this product burned my and my daughter’s faces and her skin is very different from mine
