Razor Kobra Boy's Bicycle, 18-Inch

(Edit, as stated originally the pedal broke right away, we replaced that and then the sprocket broke a few months later. They just aren't using good parts in this bike, the frame still holds well though) Original post: The bike is awesome but the peddles are plastic and aren't incredibly sturdy. one broke after just a week of riding ,my son tipped it over and it did fall pretty hard though. The construction on the rest of the bike though is rock solid and I expect this to last until my son outgrows it.

So at first I thought this was a good buy, but this is put together horrible. If you buy. Make sure you check all the spokes and every bolt and nut to make sure they are tight. The sprocket was bent on both main and rear wheel. The rear wheel bent after a couple of rides. As well as the front wheel and the peddles bent as well. I would say it’s a very cheap bike altogether.. and to replace the wheel cost just as much as a new bike 🤣. So I was not satisfied with this purchase..

ONLY GET THIS IF YOU CAN HAVE SOMEONE MECHANICALLY INCLINED ASSEMBLE!! It is NOT a quick or easy assembly to the average person! As everyone else said, brakes are on COMPLETELY wrong!! My husband had to completely reassemble and adjust them. Super awesome looking bike, reallyComplex and hard assembly.

This thing is sweet. If you're not mechanically inclined, call your brother, uncle, dad, aunt...whoever, because when you get to adjusting the brakes you're gonna need some help. I think we can all agree the brakes are an important part of your child's bike. Anyways...my son loves his bike and has put at least a hundred miles on it so far. Tires are for street use, they're not grippy.

This is a sharp looking bike I bought from Amazon Warehouse Deals. As other reviews indicated, packaging was horrible and the front fork was too narrow for the front axle. Also, it was missing a front trick peg. Now, if I could break this review down, Amazon would receive 5 stars for their gracious service in correcting the problem. The packaging is a 1. Pieces of the bike were tumbling around loosely in the box. Also, the pedal bearing were tightened a little too much, making a grinding feeling while turning the pedals. A little loosening of the nut smoothed it out. Lastly, here's a tip for spreading the front fork enough to install the front wheel: with the seat and handle bars on the bike, turn it upside down. Loop a small ratchet strap around one fork and something solid, like a tree. Back a vehicle or something solid to the bike and loop another ratchet strap around the vehicle frame and the other fork. DON'T PULL WITH THE VEHICLE. Now, tighten the ratchet straps slowly, using the front wheel to check your progress. So it will drop in! No scratches or damage to the bike, no help, very quick job. This bike assembly is not for someone with no tools or mechanical ability. Better buy one fully assembled somewhere if you're not sure.

This bike looks sharp. It is well-designed and sturdy. My 6-year old son loves it. The main disappointment was that it came very much disassembled. While most of the assembly is pretty straightforward (although not that fun), wiring the brakes and adjusting them on the wheels was very tedious and quite tricky to get right. I had to get a bike-enthusiast friend to help me out! So something to be aware of if you think you'll get a bike all ready to go like you'd get from your local store.

This bike... oh man. I don't know if it's the seller, or Razor, but what I received isn't okay. It's missing a kick stand, and a rear tire well was assembled as the front rear well when the rear well on THIS bike is entirely different, and the tires were flat.I'm legitimately pissed off at this product/seller.

I read previous reviews and realized there was assembly. I expected to assemble pedals, seat, handle bars, but brake cables and then adjusting cables, brake calipers, and brake pads was way past my abilities. Totally stymied until I thought of a friend that worked on bikes and took it to him.

Perfect for my 8 year old to do tricks...not too heavy.
