It works out of the bag
Basically plug and play , which is a good . But for the price of the BTech GMRS-50V2 you think it would come with a program cable.

This programming cable works perfectly and is well made. I didn't have to install any software myself as it did so automatically.

BTech GMRS-50v2 through Chirp
I bought this to program, with Chirp, my new BTech GMRS-50v2 in my truck. I bought the first one and it just would not connect to the radio. I installed all drivers and software but nothing. I submitted to the possibility that it was a faulty cable. I ordered another cable. I plugged it in and it immediately connected and programmed my radio. Great cable.

Works Great
I have no issues programming my BTech UV-25X4 with it. Since it is a FTDI cable and I already have another FTDI cable set up for programming another radio, this one just worked without having to add any software to the computer.
