A truly wonderful and inspirational book for little ones
I've been waiting for ages for this to publish because my twins are THE BIGGEST David Attenborough fans (AKA Uncle Attenborough in our house)😆. Me and hubby bought this as a surprise for them and they were thrilled! 🥰For the first couple of pages it was honestly like reading about my twins, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't harbour secret hopes that they will become the David Attenborough's of their generation! When a child truly admires and loves someone in the public eye - especially when that person is of the generation that David is (in comparison to 6 year olds), and one of the most wonderful humans on earth - it lights up my heart that they can read about that person's beginnings, and see that anything is possible, and their dreams to do the same as David ARE accessible to them too.... How wonderful and inspirational.I hope that makes sense!

Extremely expiring!
My son absolutely adored the story of David Attenborough. The quality of the book is excellent,The pages feel like really nice paper. The illustrations are just mesmerisingly beautiful.Superb storyline very informative.Little David Attenborough grew up in Leicester on the campus of a university, where his father was a professor. As a child, he spent hours in the science library, collating his own specimens and creating a mini animal museum. When he was old enough to go to university, he studied science and zoology—but what he wanted most of all was to be close to the animals he was studying. So, he started working in television, visiting animals in their natural habitats, and telling the world the untold stories of these animals. This moving book features stylish and quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the broadcaster's life.Little People, BIG DREAMS is a best-selling series of books and educational games that explore the lives of outstanding people, from designers and artists to scientists and activists. All of them achieved incredible things, yet each began life as a child with a dream. This empowering series offers inspiring messages to children of all ages, in a range of formats. The board books are told in simple sentences, perfect for reading aloud to babies and toddlers. The hardcover versions present expanded stories for beginning readers. Love these books
Beautifully illustrated book, written wonderfully and concisely detailing the life of Sir David Attenborough and all the wonderful things he’s done for our planet. I must say that these books are really lovely and have made well-received gifts for my friends’ children. This book, in particular, has been my personal favourite (I mean, who doesn’t like David Attenborough!), the book is a joy to read to my little boy and I have learnt a thing or two as well

Great Read- but pricey
My 7 year old loves this. The only problem she now wants lots of other books in the collection which will add up. I bought a series/ bundle but they were mini a mini version of the larger books and aimed at a lower age bracket

These books are just lovely!
My boys 4 and 5 have been aware of David Attenborough for a while and he is just as much a National treasure to them as he is to us. This book has been wonderful for them. A really good way for them to relate to him as a little boy and help them dream of where they might be 'when they grow up'. It's easy and simple to understand with lovely graphics. It has brought them a lot of joy. I would recommend.
