Boogie Board is like the name brand of kids writing tablets so I bought this one. It is listed at $20. It’s 8 inches, a grey “ink” and comes with a basic stylus. My kid spilled and the erase button stopped working. It says “battery not replaceable” but we’ve only had this thing 3 months and I’m not about to fill the landfill or waste my money so... with nothing to lose I opened it up. What do you know?! A button battery that’s EASILY replaceable! BAM saved our landfills.Unfortunately I had already purchased a knock off brand. A 12 inch, rainbow ink, a stylus with attachment cord, not only replaceable battery but replacement batteries included with the screwdriver to open it up. $18.This Boogie Board is okay but your paying for the brand, not quality or cool features.

Very happy with these. I purchased two. I keep them in the backseat chair pocket of my car for when I am transporting my grandchildren (3&5). They do all sorts of things with them...draw pictures, trace their hands, play games (tic-tac-toe, etc) with each other. The oldest one practices her writing skills, math facts, and other school topics. I've borrowed them to jot a quick grocery or "to-do" list, when it has popped in my head. They would also be awesome for playing PICTIONARY!!! No wasted paper!!! Only thing I don't like is that the writing tool that comes with them doesn't have a slot to slide into for safe keeping, nor is the tool attached by a chord and so, consequently, they are now missing - lost somewhere in the seats of my car.

The product arrived on time as promised. I was disappointed with the display. When you write on it, the marks are a dark gray on a black background and is difficult read; especially for other people. In addition, I noted that the batteries are not replaceable and the unit is not UL labeled. The batteries are made in China and are a safety concern for me. Wish I had never bought the product.

This is the 2nd boogie board i've owned, Had the original which I lost at some point between our moves. It is nice to have on the fridge to write notes to the significant other and to help the kid w/ homework w/o wasting paper. This one is nice, but just wish it came with magnets on the back. Luckily I had some tiny rare earth magnets I was able to superglue to it. Will see how long it lasts since the battery isn't replaceable.

Super lightweight! It’s cool and fun for $16. I hope it lasts for years with this battery. Cons: It says on the back and in the instructions that the battery is not replaceable, but there are 4 small screws on the back that might allow you to replace it anyways, as another reviewer mentioned. The back is black, not pink. The stylus holder makes it wobbly to write on if you lay it flat on a table, but you can remove it by sliding it off or on. The writing is duller than the pictures show. Also marks where your hand touched it sometimes (see picture).

This product has made my job so much easier! I suggested it to my manager and told her she should get one for everyone. It saves so much paper and helps me keep track of everything I need to, then it's super simple to erase and move on! 100% recommend. I also use it for D&D and other tabletop gamea, it's great for keeping track of HP and temporary effects.

I had one like this before and someone took it when it was left in my cart. I bought a newer model with a replaceable battery and like it pretty well but the holder to hold the sylus broke so now we have a problem getting it to retain the stylus. I bought this one during Prime days and did not realize the batteries were not replaceable and mine did not come the magnetic stickers to stick it to the fridge.

got some magnets and put it on my refrigerator, use it as my shopping list, just take it down and then take it with me to the grocery store.Have another one I use for family notes. Such handy little things, when I'm done, just hit the button and message gone! Or use my finger nail at the grocery to line thru item as I put it in my cart.

BATTERY IS EASILY REPLACEABLEI have seen two units that look similar. On the other one, the "boogie board" logo is very artsy and the battery is much more difficult to replace, however this unit has four screws and reveals the battery.

I love the boogie board, but I hate that the batteries are not replaceable. Once the battery dies, then that's it.

Bought it for my grandchild age 6. She likes it and has had fun with it but I think the writing is not bright enough and so difficult to read words.

using them in school where I work..kids love them instead of white boards to practice sight words ect.

Works great
