Funktioniert sehr gut, wirkt sehr wertig und sitzt auch auf der Hüfte relativ bequem (dafür, dass es natürlich ziemlich schwer ist). Das man die Hülle entfernen und waschen kann ist sehr gut. Ein solides Schloss, was einen Gelegenheitsdieb mit Sicherheit abschreckt.

I have this hiplock and the hiplock lite. This is a stronger more secure lock than the lite version but combined its pretty good security for my bike. I chuck this hiplock in my bag and I have the hiplock lite around my waist. Locking my bike, I rap this hip lock original around my frame and back tire and the fixed place I am locking it and then the hiplock lite I rap around the front tire and frame. Altogether it makes it all fairly secure to anyone that dose not have a mobile disc cutter..

Il prodotto si presenta molto bene, ottima fattura. Il fatto che possa essere usato tipo cintura mi ha risolto il problema di dove ancorare la catena durante gli spostamenti, la uso per un monopattino. Il rivestimento della catena è bello e robusto. Ottima e molto utile la zona riflettente.

This lock is beefy. It’s a little tight for space when locking my bike up to racks, but that increases security, and I can still lock it to any rack I’ve been to. It’s pretty heavy, but I don’t feel it when wearing it around my waist. I find wearing it very convenient. I like not having a lock dangling off my frame or having to carry a bag for one. Although it’s expensive, my bike cost me thousands of dollars so this is a small price to pay for piece of mind knowing that thieves will likely pick an easier target when they see this thick chain and lock.

Le fabricant plebiscite une taille de fermeture antivol de 85cm, mais la vraie taille utile est tout autre, car ils mesurent cadenas compris, or comme les deux derniers maillons de la chaîne doivent être passés dans la hanse du cadenas (système un peu à l’ancienne à mon goût), la taille tellement utilisable pour accrocher le vélo est plus de l’ordre de 78cm. Malheureusement c’est bien trop peu pour être utilisé correctement partout à coup sûr (et si vous désirez accrocher le cadre et une roue, vous pouvez définitivement l’ignorer). Dommage, le concept était intéressant, mais il manque 10 ou 15cm d’attache pour tenir toutes ses promesses.
