A Rollercoaster of Fun with a Card Quality Caveat
The Mind is hands down the quirkiest, most entertaining card game I've stumbled upon, and let me tell you, the laughs are just the beginning. At first, everyone's giggling like it's a comedy show as we awkwardly try to "sync" by placing our hands on the table. The cringe is real, folks. Attempting to play cards without uttering a word? It's a challenge that's both hilarious and nerve-wracking. But here's where the magic happens – after a few rounds, the silliness transforms into a serious strategic showdown. It's like a switch flips, and suddenly, we're all in sync without even realizing it. The Mind creates an unspoken bond among players that's both fascinating and downright cool. I've managed to conquer this seemingly impossible game once, and let me tell you, it's a victory worth celebrating. The sense of accomplishment is real, folks. What's even more impressive is how The Mind extends beyond just a game. It's become my secret weapon for non-verbal communication, and believe it or not, I've brought it to my workplace for some serious team-building exercises. The results? Unbelievable camaraderie and a newfound appreciation for the power of silent cooperation. But here's the kicker, the cards themselves don't quite match up to the premium quality found in some other decks. If you're used to high-quality production of card games for your collection, The Mind might not tick all the boxes. Regular decks out there boast better production quality, and for collectors who appreciate the feel and durability of top-notch cards, this might be a bit of a letdown. However, if your primary focus is the gameplay and you're not overly particular about the card quality, it's a minor issue that can easily be overlooked. In conclusion, The Mind isn't just a game; it's a journey from laughter to serious strategy, from cringe to triumph. If you're looking for an experience that's as entertaining as it is mind-bending, this game is an absolute gem. Cheers to syncing hands and conquering The Mind!

Fake Product + Game Box Damaged
I bought and the feeling I got as soon as I open the package is that the product is not the original but a copy. You can easily tell the quality of the product is not good. On top of that, the package, the game container/ the box was damaged. I know its a cheap product but I was expecting an original game in good condition.

Terrific game. Ultra simple idea, easy to learn, surprisingly engaging for all ages. A big hit at two recent family gatherings. Highly recommended. Message to the game’s designer(s) regarding simple but needed improvements to the cards and to the box/case: 1. It’s a little too easy to mis-read the numbers on the cards. (I assume/hope that is not intentional). For a game where timing and speed can be crucial, the cards’ numbers could be presented more clearly. Maybe make the cards two-toned so that the numbers are ‘standing’ on a darker (‘ground’) color with a lighter (‘sky’) background color behind/above? And/or perhaps make the ‘ground’ slightly curved so the individual numerals (in a two digit number) are ‘leaning’ slightly away from the centerline of the card? Anything that helps one quickly orient the numbers correctly with just a quick glance = right side up. 2. The box is the ‘wrong’ size.* - The game ‘equipment’ is effectively just a deck of 100+ cards. The box’s shape/size is designed to hold 2 half-decks side-by-side. But two half decks do not stay separated in the box. The cards tend to ‘mingle’ in the box creating a bulge in the middle - or at one end - stressing the already weak seams (see below). A simpler box size/shape that just holds all 100+ cards in a single stack would be much better (IMHO) and easier to use. 3. The paper/cardboard box is too flimsy. Will not last.* - The box I received in the mail already seemed a bit ‘shop worn.’ Seams started to tear after just two days of use. - Single cards also easily slip out of the closed box through the gaps at the ends. - After day 2, I needed to cello-tape the box’s weak seems (and I taped one end permanently closed) - A simple plastic(?) case with a robust lid/latch would be a much better choice. I’m searching for one now to replace the box the game comes in. - An additional ‘nicety’ (not necessity) would be to provide a separate ‘pocket’ in the box/case for the dozen or so non-number cards to keep them separated from the main deck of 100 numbered ‘play’ cards. *refers to the “Pandasaurus” (N American) edition. Not sure if the NSV (Europe) box is similar.
