Hartmann Vigor Extended Journey Spinner, Navy, One Size

10 stars, if I could...Fantastic item, being replaced with new model. VERY hard to get bronze at this price...looks metallic brown--quite stylish. Hartmann sizes correctly, from handle to wheels...Very large, have to pack carefully to stay under 50#. If even 1 ounce over, costs $100 extra each way, and SOME airlines charge it for each leg of trip! Same for oversized checked bags--$100 extra! This 32" bag JUST made maximum checked baggage size, but some manufacturers measure from INSIDE (cubic ft), AIRLINES DON'T. NEVER assume the measurements by the manufacturers, or ASK; that's why I ordered the Medium bronze Vigor piece too. Automatically fits checked size for any airlines. Always good size for travel--hard to go over 50# in it too. Ordered too late for trip... Have had tweed Hartman since 1984--great match. Love how zippers nest into lock. Perfect for latest trip. Love quality leather handles & extra SMOOTH spinner wheels. Built and glides better than Heys & Olympia spinner sets used by family members. Liked so much, found final matching piece on trip at luggage store & shipped home. NOTE: Just as consumer magazine reports, measure luggage from handles to wheels (length) CAREFULLY for all pieces--maximum allowed size restrictions for checked baggage and ESPECIALLY for carry ons. Read/print out each airlines' baggage rules, easily available on airline websites before you go ANYWHERE, always. Last big trip, printed out rules, had 75# max & used it. In interim, rules changed, but my luggage was ok "grandfathered", thanks to having rules printed when airline ticket was PURCHASED. Rules followed purchase date, not travel date:)

The Hartmann Extended Journey spinner is to large for Airline measurements. The actual measurements on this piece of luggage is 32" x 21.25" x 13.25" for a total of 66.5" airlines allow 62" anything larger and you have to pay overage to the airline if using to fly. This is not stated in the description of the bag. The bag is very well made and beautiful and huge just will not work for my purpose. Also to return I had to pay for shipping which cost me at the cheapest $36. Just a FYI so you know what you are buying before you order.

Not the quality I was expecting. It said scratch proof, however, after one use it has scratches

good case -- if you fly a lot as i do , it is the one you want

Right travel size. This case is for the elegant and dignified person.
