Great kitchen pot
I am extremely picky and demanding of my kitchen tools. I love this pot, it is up there with the best I have used. The handle is cool and a very comfortable shape. The rivets are heavy duty. Medium weight so it sits well on my gas range. Finish is excellent. This is a great value and is much nicer than some more expensive options. I bought both the 1 1/2 quart and 3 quart versions. I would definitely buy again. Only slight improvements would be a steam hole on the lid and a slightly different lip shape to more tightly focus the stream when you pour off hot water.

Terrific cookware ... but not indestructible
What a moron! I bought the Cooks Standard 10-pc. set, and have loved it. Wrote a nice review for that set here at Amazon. And then, a few weeks ago, I managed to destroy the 3-qt. covered sauce pan. Happened like this: I half-filled the pan with water, stuck it on the stove set to high to bring it to boil ... and then ran to answer the phone. The call ran long, and I lost track of time. Who knew the multi-ply clad stainless was THAT efficient at storing and conveying heat? While my friend kept me talking, in the kitchen all the water boiled away. I caught it before it burned the house down, but not before the pan was reduced to a mere shell of its former self: deeply discolored, and badly warped. Not even fit for Goodwill, it went straight into recycling.I was heartbroken. But also committed to keeping my beautiful set complete, so I instantly ordered this as a replacement. And here's a hard-won insight: the 10-pc set is REALLY economical per piece compared to buying individual pans from open stock. Well, duh! This was some $55 (for two pieces, since the lid counts), while the 10-pc set was only some $160 or so. Nonetheless, I see it as money well spent. Using these pans is a pure pleasure. They are hefty without being wrist-breaking, they are beautifully crafted, and they cook with less heat and far more evenly than any pans I've ever before owned. No anti-stick coatings to worry me about possible contamination. They've proven easy to clean, too. Just keep some Barkeeper's Friend handy. But don't leave one unattended on high heat for very long. They're solidly made, but they are not indestructible.

Just can't say enough good things about this pan!! LOVE IT!!!
I bought my Cooks pan in October of 2014, and in the time of use (it's currently July, 2017), I have nothing but words of praise for this little workhorse!! There are few things you buy that you just are so completely delighted with, and for me, this was one of those rare gems. I use the 3-quart size daily to heat water, cook veggies, etc., so I bought this one as an extra to a very nice Cuisinart set I bought some years before. The Cuisinart pans are excellent quality as well and I would give them very high marks too except for two things: the handles have an uncomfortable shape to gripe (kind of force your palm to mash together in an uncomfortable way to grip it safely to lift or pour, especially when the pan is full and heavy) and they can become so hot to pick up without a pot holder. The Cooks pan has a pot handle and handle on the lid that have an extremely comfortable shape to grip (NO mashing up of your palm—your hand just fits comfortably and solidly around the curved handle) and that's important when you're pouring out hot liquid from a very full pan like I often do. Also, the handles are hollow and don't hold the scorching heat that my Cuisinart pan does. I'm not sure I have ever had to use a pot holder on this Cooks pan, and it's a must for the Cuisinart pan. The finish on the pan gleams and looks fantastic even though I use this daily. Surface is pretty easy to clean. I've never had rust or any other issues with the finish. It heats evenly and well—never noticed a problem in that area. The handles are secure and well attached. I can imagine this pan could last for decades of use. I love it and it's the favorite pan I reach for over the other Cuisinart. The 3-quart size is fantastic for so many things—not too big, not too small. I'd give it more stars if I could. You won't regret buying this pan (or probably any of the Cooks cookware) and the price point is pretty amazing compared to other brands.

Handsome, well designed, well made, highly functionaly.
I purchased a two quart sauce pan and found it a most excellent piece of cook wear. I also own a 2 quart all clad pot (15 years old), and a 4 quart cusinart. All three brands has the sandwich construction for better, more even heat distribution, and it would logically seem, better energy eficiency.Of the three I like this line a lot better for a number of reasons. First is is far better looking that either of the other two. More importantly, it has a number of user friendly feartures. One feature I like is that the handle is bigger, more ergonomically functional in holding a full pot, and far more comfortable and easy to get and hold a good grip in a pot full of hot liquits, soup, stew, etc. The pot hadle is also more user friendly as it is arched providing more space for your fingers, and more clearance abover a hot lid to avoid contact between fingers and the lid. Both the cuisinart and the Cooks feature the cruved out lip around the open mouth of the lid which if more functional if using the pot to pour out some of the contents, also gives a better aesthetic finish. The all clad has an unfinished top lip revealing the three layers of the pot and it not smoothl as the other two and the finished look is, well, unfinihed and not quite as clean extetically or keeing or offering as clean a look. Finally, the Cooks cook where has the other too beat just in finish and appearance. If you want affordable, high quality, handsome, highly functional, well built and durable cook wear, Cooks seems like the clear winner to me.

Altamente recomendable, lamento no haberlo comprando antes.

Great pans
Really great pans. They are not non-stick but that's really the point, no toxic chemical released when you cook. The pan heats up much faster than my old non-stick pans and you can get food to properly "caramelize" eg: onions+olive oil. Very easy to clean, although you'll need non-scrach sponges/pads and they are fine in the dishwasher as well. Only two small complains: the pans are pretty heavy compared to others and the outside of the rivets have oxydized a bit after only a month, they just made of a different metal, but everything seems very solid.

Cooks Standard Saucepan: A Sturdy Workhorse (5 Stars)
I'm a big fan of well-made, reliable cookware, and this Cooks Standard 3-Quart Multi-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Saucepan definitely delivers! Here's why it gets 5 stars from me:Stainless Steel Strength: This pan is built to last! The thick, high-quality stainless steel feels incredibly sturdy and durable. It can handle anything I throw at it in the kitchen.Practical Lid: While a clear lid might be handy for monitoring boiling water, I actually prefer the practicality of stainless steel. It's less prone to scratching or shattering, and let's be honest, I've dropped a lid or two in my time!Super Savings: I snagged this saucepan on a fantastic sale, making it an incredible value for the quality.Dishwasher (Almost) Friendly: This pan is dishwasher safe, which is a big plus for easy cleanup. However, I have noticed some slight marks after running it through the dishwasher. It's nothing a quick hand wash can't fix, and considering the durability of stainless steel, it's a minor trade-off.Overall: This Cooks Standard Saucepan is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable, well-made saucepan. The thick stainless steel construction ensures even heat distribution and long-lasting performance. The included lid is a practical choice, and the fact that I scored it on sale makes it an even sweeter deal. While the dishwasher might leave some slight marks, the overall quality and durability far outweigh that minor detail. Highly recommend!

Fine cookware with a flawless finish
Super sturdy small pan for daily use. What I like most about it is that the bottom plate is not jointed, making it easier to maintain.

Solid multi-clad cookware
I know it's not Al-Clad or some other fancy brand, but I have to say I'm very impressed. So impressed, I bought the 10-piece set. The "Made in China" part on the bottom is not ideal, but they're still not necessarily cheap pots and pans. The pot is heavy and heat distribution is excellent. Milk boils quickly and the residue is quite easy to wash off because the thickness and consistency of the material keeps the milk from burning. So, what more can be said. It's good value for the money. I've used the pot every day for the last four weeks, and it has performed flawlessly so far.
