Mineral Fusion Eye Shadow Trio, Sultry .1 Ounce

This eyeshadow worked very nicely, the colours are more pigmented than a variety of other healthy choices I’ve tried and I don’t get any allergic reaction with it. Might consider buying different shades from the same brand too since I like it.

If you have greenish hazel eyes, BUY THIS! I get sooo many compliments on my eye color when I wear these eye shadow trio. The highlighter color is so sheer, matte, and neutral, you can't even tell I'm wearing it--which is a good thing because brow bone highlighting is so out of style and aging. I just use it to blend my crease color. I use the taupe as my crease color. I'm half asian/half caucasian, so I don't do my makeup like a lot of other women can/do where they use the darkest color in their crease. The taupe is actually kind of orangey/bronze more than it is brown/tan/beige, and it's very shimmery. I use the deep plum on my lid and blend it into the taupe. Purples/plums have always brought out the green in my hazel eyes, but combined with the taupe I stop people in their tracks. I had a lady say "Your eyes are so....GREEN!?" to me....I think she was more surprised because everyone assumes I'm 100% asian and aren't expecting that (I live in the south right now). I wish the taupe was also matte since the other two are, but I guess I'm still young enough to pull it off. It's not like anyone would think my plum eyelids were my natural coloring, anyway. I'm so glad I splurged and bought this trio for my great makeup purge/replacement. I threw out almost all of my other makeup while getting rid of more chemical laden cosmetics. The only thing I have to say is this eye pallet is tiny. Smaller than expected. But everything from MF has been smaller than I expected it to be. Their prices are very steep considering the amount of makeup you receive, but you get what you pay for, and everything I've purchased from them has been well worth it. They've got a customer for LIFE, as far as I'm concerned.

This compact is smaller than I expected, but that doesn't bother me as I rarely apply eyeshadow. I was looking for a clean version of an eyeshadow compact with green shades to replace a conventional drugstore version that I have, and this fits the bill perfectly. All of the shades are really beautiful, go well together, and have a nice gold shimmer. When I applied them, I first applied a powder eyeshadow primer, and then sprayed my makeup brushes with water before dipping into the eyeshadow (otherwise I wouldn't be able to get anything to stick on my eyelids). Using this method, I was able to get really nice coverage and blending and absolutely no creasing as the day went on. There was a little bit of fallout but nothing terrible. I bought the Mineral Fusion trio with blue shades and look forward to trying that as well.
