I’ve had the phone case for about five years now. Works amazing.

Best case out there! It's a little heavy. But it works like a charm. I'm on my 3rd case as a result of upgrading phones. But all worked very well.Pros: sturdy, looks great, really protects your phone more than any other case. Also very reasonable price compared to Otter Box. I accidentally dropped a weight on the phone. The protective glass shattered, but the phone was fine. (See my "Tips" below regarding the protective glass.) Last - I dropped my phone on the ground from varying heights many times. The case was scratched up. However, the phone was is perfect condition. Had an iPhone 6 for many years. When I traded it in, the clerk was so surprised at the condition of my phone. It had no scratches or cosmetic flaws.Some tips: Depending on the person, it may seem a little heavy. Also, keep a super small Allen wrench to open and secure case. Sometimes, the screws will rust. If so, replace it ASAP, as you may not be able to get your phone out if it strips. Biggest con: If you get liquid under the protective glass (it's super easy to do this), it may create a moisture spot or bubble. When that happens, it blocks the touch screen from working. Really impacted me on a business trip when I needed to make calls and access emails/apps. I had to stop at Home Depot and buy a wrench so I could wipe it off. Recommendation - Take the protective glass off and just use the steel case. It still protects the phone, but not the glass. So be careful.Again, I would buy this again & again. Great product!

Put this case on and immediately killed my cell signal. Took the case off and signal came right back. Junk. Don't waste your time or money.

iPhone 12 Pro MaxThe feel of the case and the sturdiness are good. I only have two complaints.1: the dust cover for the charger port is removable, while taking care of problem 2 I thought it had gotten ripped off and lost but it had just fallen off and rolled under my leg, maybe a removable cover appeals to some but to me it seems like a good way for it to get lost.2: the built in screen protector WILL leave scratches on your phone screen. I only had it on a day so the scratches are fairly minor but it’s irritating because there were zero until I put this case on. What I did was buy a tempered glass screen protector (QHOHQ Brand, fits good but if you want the privacy screen effect it doesn’t really work) but I put the screen protector on my phone and took the screen protector that’s built into the phone case off (comes off with firm pressure, start on a corner and work your way around) and put the case over the tempered glass one, fits great and no exposed edges on the new screen protector.All in all it’s a pretty good case for the price.

I had this style case on my iPhone 7Plus for nearly 5 years. I am notoriously hard on phones and the case for the 7Plus stood up to some serious punishment. Dropped getting out of the car, dropped down a flight of stairs in a parking garage and actually being drop kicked across a parking lot when I missed my pocket with groceries in my hand 2 weeks after putting my phone in it. Almost 5 years later I traded my 7Plus in on a shiny new 12 Pro Max and the salesman was amazed at the condition of the phone, even saying it looked like it just came out of the box. The pics are of the old case after removing the 7Plus for trade.Now for the problems with this case for the 12 Pro Max. I have no doubt it will provide the same protection I had previously; however, the page states it is compatible with wireless charging but after getting the case put together the wireless charging didn't work for my stand. I will try a couple of others to verify it's not just the stand I have, but given how the case is designed I can't see it being remotely compatible with the wireless charging feature. If this is true it should be removed from the description details as it's misleading. Another con is the camera lenses on the Pro is left exposed with no room for a lens shield to be placed on it. With that large of an opening it should just be widened out to allow for the placement of a camera lens shield. Lastly the screen protector that comes attached to the case is great for protection, but doesn't adhere to the phone screen so it bubbles and distorts the image while also making the touch sensitivity of the screen an issue. I ditched the screen it came with immediately and used an adhesive tempered glass screen protector I bought separately for both the old case and this one. This does make the case more prone to collecting dust on the inside which has to be cleaned out periodically, but that's a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing you could pretty much kick a field goal with your phone in this case and still have it working and looking brand new 5 years later. If it weren't for the issues I mentioned about the camera lens port and wireless charging this would have been a solid 5 star review, but protection-wise it is 5 stars and can't be beat.If I find a wireless charging stand that functions with this case and/or a lens protector that fits I'll kick this review up a star for each.
