Silly price for a laundry bag but it looks good and is very practical. The interior has a plastic coating that is damp proof and snag free. The bottom is a thin sheet of black textured plastic that holds the bag in shape and is ok to put on damp grass. A definite plus point that the plastic bottom is part of the construction and not an insert which comes loose and offers a hidey hole for dirt and small items. There is a metal rim sewn into a casing at the top of the bag. Being Brabantia I am pretty sure this will be a good quality metal, perhaps stainless steel, and won't rust. It feels very strong. UPDATE 1.5 years later my basket is still perfect. I told my daughter about it and how good it was and she, of course, ignored me. Several months later I got a phone call telling me she'd discovered this really good laundry basket... grrr! And what made it even worse is that she has bought several for use in the car and around the home. I think she ought to buy me another one as an apology. The fabric sides are substantial so that bag stays up when I put it on the floor to empty the machine. I like that it collapses so it doesn't hog shelf space in my laundry cupboard. It seems well made and should last well. Also it looks a lot better than brightly coloured plastic and when you have to do such a boring horrible job as the washing it does help to have pleasant well made items. Overall I am very pleased that I splashed out and bought this bag. It would make a good bag for the boot of the car as well and would be perfect for muddy boots. If I was rich enough I'd buy several for general use around the house.

Nonostante trovi i prodotti Brabantia belli e di qualità, ho ritenuto questa cesta un po' troppo cara per le mie tasche... ma infine sono riuscita ad acquistarla su Amazon warehouse e ne sono proprio contenta! È realizzata con un tessuto spesso, robusto ma modellabile, e ha un rivestimento impermeabile adatto a trasportare panni sia bagnati sia asciutti. Il bordo superiore della cesta è rinforzato con un'anima di metallo, mentre le impugnature sono morbide. Si distingue dalle altre ceste per panni pieghevoli, secondo me, per la sensazione del materiale al tatto, quasi naturale e per nulla "plasticoso", e perché mantiene la sua forma anche se vuota, senza afflosciarsi. La cesta si presta a vari usi, grazie al suo aspetto sobrio, ben rifinito e niente affatto da lavanderia. Larga e non troppo profonda, inizialmente la abbiamo usata per raccogliere il bucato dei bambini, ma poi è finita in salotto come contenitore porta giocattoli. Infatti, i nostri figli possono accedervi facilmente, essendo la cesta nè troppo alta per poter raggiungere i giochi in autonomia, nè troppo rigida in caso di capitomboli. Il più piccolino, poi, si aggrappa e tira giù il bordo rigido per poter più facilmente scegliere il gioco da prendere. È un acquisto che consiglio, in virtù della buona fattura e della versatilità di questa cesta!

.. is that it's a bit small compared to the load of my washing machine. A few cm bigger in every direction and it'd be great. It's sturdy, easy to carry and, because it collapses fairly flat, easy to store when you're not using it.

Great quality. Collapses to around an inch tall for storing. It is lightweight but the materials are strong. I feel the handles should be on the longer sides rather than the shorter sides to make it more comfortable when carrying, although this is a very minor concern.

Ha superato le mie aspettative. È bellissimo, comodo e funzionale. Davvero capiente e impermeabile. Lo consiglio davvero.
