The red and green LEDs were put between the holes in the diffusers, so they are completely worthless! The light does not make it out of the fixture. Who knows what other serious problems there are with the design that aren't so obvious.The soldering is some of the worst I've seen. I could have done a better job when I was 10 years old. There's absolutely no protection for the LED board, no orings or any sort of coating. If it gets splashed with salt water I imagine it will go out pretty quickly. I would not mount this over a tank that isn't covered. They did put most of the electronics in a separate module on the cord, but there is no way this is water proof AT ALL.The app is horrible! My phone connects to it's wifi, and the app opens OK, but all of the buttons are greyed out. I got it to work with an old android tablet. The sliders go from 0% to 100% in increments of 1, but it's not linear and it's not anywhere near the actual percent. Going from 1% to 10% is barely perceivable. Going from 50% to 100%, using the lux meter on my phone shows the brightness increase by 5X. It does get very bright though.

Great looking light and good choice for my 32 biocube, however the wifi app does not support 5G and so I cannot connect it to my smartphone. The app itself appears to be great but useless since I cannot the light to my phone since the apt does not support 5G networkSo I have to return it.
