Davidson's Organics, Quilan China Oolong, Loose Leaf Tea, 16-Ounce Bag

I ran out of this tea, ordered several other samples from Davidson's but ended up reordering this one again. It my first cup in the morning. Great value.

I would not call myself a tea snob or anyone that knows everything about tea but I tried a bag of Davidson's China Oolong a few months ago and simply loved everything about it. The flavor was full and rich but not at all bitter. I've read a bunch of reviews that oolongs can be quite bitter when steeped wrong but even when I accidentally oversteeped (5-10min) these leaves I still thought it was quite nice. Personally I don't mind caffiene and have been been steeping these at around 190-195°C for 2-3 sometimes 4 minutes if I want a little extra kick. A few times I just went for flavor and steeped for 2min and it tastes absolutely fantastic!

I am not an expert on Oolong tea, but I have been drinking Oolong tea for many years. I have tried several different brands. Whenever I eat at a Chinese restaurant I alwas order the tea. I must say that after all these years, I am quite satisfied with flavor of this tea. I don't get 4-5 steeps with this tea as a I do with other more expensive brands, but it is still worth buying. This is my second order and I will be ordering more in the future.

I do enjoy this tea, took it on vacation to Jamaica.

Most of the leaves are black as coal and very delicate they turn to ash when pressed. It brews very dark the taste is boring almost washed out with a oily aftertaste and its quite unpleasant.. As someone else pointed out other teas are harsher yes but this has no kick as if it was from leaves that had already been used. "washing" There is something wrong with it. It has an odor almost minty my mom says it tastes like soap. For me it's almost like someone burned a fire in the area where the tea was being stored, ether way it's not good and we're tossing it in the trash.

the delivery is fast, just what I expected, low cost and give you the tea aroma, cannot compare to the high grade tea, but its good enough for daily drink, I m happy.

Get 454g for the same price as 50g from David's tea . David's is better but way too expensive . I will buy again .
