I loved this co-wash that is sadly no longer available. It really cleansed and conditioned my thick hair. Normal amount of hair shed. Wonderful smell.

I recently moved to Connecticut.The well water here severely damaged my hair. It left it dry brittle and it started to fall out.This balm leaves my hair shinny and beautiful. No conditioner needed, you can brush your hair completely wet and not pull one strand. The scent is clean and fresh. Love this product!!!

Hi Friends! After watching a UTube referencing this product, I thought I would place an order and give it a try... I literally have shelves full of products claiming to create "Volume, Softness & Curls!". I have short hair (2-3 inches in length) and my hair is naturally curly - OK … I spent 70 years (OMG!! 70 years!) straightening my hair, using curlers (every type) and have had everything from waist length blonde hair (yes I was that hippie girl) to now short brown (colored) hair and it's only been the last 2 years that I've embraced curly hair since breaking my hand. After receiving this product (thank you Amazon Prime 2 day delivery), I used this product today. Rinsed my hair, massaged in a small amount of this product, left it on for 4 minutes and then rinsed it out. Blotted my hair with an old T-Shirt, scrunched it with my hand and then left it alone to air dry. I can honestly say my hair has NEVER looked or felt better! Ever! I think it's really important to just leave your hair alone after scrunching and let it air dry., I used a wide toothed comb/pick to pick it out after it was dry and ... VOLUMES of soft, curly hair with great shine! NO itchy scalp, NO dry hair, just masses of curls! My hair actually feels better to the touch! This is absolutely the BEST product I've ever used. I Love it! If you have curly hair (any age!) buy this product! If it worked this well for me with dry, damaged, colored hair, I believe it will work this well for you! I'm actually more excited today than I was the day my Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 (Beautiful Dupe!) arrived and that was a BIG day in my life!

Very strong scent but if you rinse longer, I find you’ll have less of a strong smell after washing. Nice smell though, not floral but more minty. I bought this because I’m weaning off of using shampoo everyday. I was down to washing every 4-5 days. I wanted a no leather cleansing solution and this is such an affordable option. My only problem is it seemed to strip my hair or all of the oil it had built up over the days and weeks of not using a lathering shampoo? I’m a little disappointed. I’m going to keep using it, and not go back to using a lather shampoo at all. I just wonder if more expensive brands strip oil less. My hair is very soft and holds good volume after using this product. Will have to see if it continues to take away oil that I actually want on my scalp and hair.

I color my hair and hate when shampooing wears away the color, so I decided to try this product. For me, the scent is strong--but I am sensitive to scented items. The scent lingers for a few hours after use. It's a pleasant scent--but that's my only concern due to sensitivities.The product exceeded my expectations. I wet my hair, apply the product, and then wrap my hair in a towel for it to set in.It rinses out fully and easily.Combing out wet hair is not an issue.My scalp feels as clean and refreshed as when using the full shampoo/conditioner routine.The next day, it styles as well as any product -- but my hair seems thicker, fuller.I rotate this into my routine, using shampoo/conditioner one time and then this solo product the next.My hair color lasts longer, the feel, look, and texture of my hair when using this is great.(I might use it more often if it came in an unscented version).YES I would recommend this product and will continue to buy it.I was hesitant to try it because I've been unsatisfied when I've tried combo shampoo/conditioner products.I'm glad I tried this and love how my hair looks and feels when it dries -- and how it looks and feels the next day.

When I first started using cleansing conditioner (Wen) I also found it left my hair greasy looking, but that's because I was using it like regular shampoo. Once I learned to use it correctly, clean hair resulted.There is a learning curve when switching from regular shampoo - you don't have a detergent doing the work for you, so it takes some time and elbow grease. Use about twice as much product, and really take a few minutes to work it in, making sure to get down to the scalp in all areas. Keep adding water as you scrub to thin out the product so that it reaches your scalp. Scrubbing is the only way to come out with really clean hair. Scrub scrub scrub, then rinse rinse rinse. I have very fine, very straight, very dark hair, and because those traits combine to make obvious even the tiniest bit of oil, I have to wash daily.I got the EverPure Cleansing Balm, and it works about the same as most cleansing conditioners I have tried, but this stuff has SUCH a strong perfume. It isn't exactly unpleasant, not too flowery, more like a unisex scent, but so overpowering! And it lingers in your hair long after you leave the shower. Because I find the strength of the scent too intense, I probably won't buy this again. I prefer the lighter scent of Herbal Essences cleansing conditioner.
