have 3 cats. this is great odor and clumping control . lasted me almost 2 weeks

We had been using different brands for a long time, and one of my friends introduced this. While it is on the pricy side of cat litters, this is the best one we've ever had. Clumping is excellent - when our cat does the job properly :) and we don't have much tracking. Now i am a repeat buyer.

It's gives you a HARD clumps but the odor control not the best thing. It mixes it's smell with the cat poop when the cat doesn't cover it's business well. And i felt that it had finished soon . It's maybe due to me having several cats

This stuff seems to have gotten better. It used to have a really bad, sewer-y smell to it, maybe it came from the Chinese mines where it came from, maybe we get it from US mines now as it no longer has that weird insecticide/shipping chemical odor to it that it had a couple years ago. I actually stopped buying this brand because of the terrible odor- this was in the litter itself not from my cats that is- but now they've either improved it, or no longer used the same provider of the clay. I mix this with a natural wood pulp/corn mill litter to supplement and "stretch" out the monthly costs of our litter, as we have FIVE cats and a lot of cat box cleaning to do.

We have two cats in our home along with a dog and a new baby. The new baby is important to this review as my wife is nursing so she can smell everything! We've used this litter for years after having tried multiple products. Important items to use with regard to cat litter are: clumping, odor control and amount of litter needed with each cleaning of the litter box (because this stuff is heavy to carry around). Odor control: This stuff is great. With the old fashioned, but tried and true odor controlling ingredient baking soda in the litter, it does a great job of absorbing odor. With a wife who was pregnant and is now nursing, odor control is priority number one. We only occasionally need to sprinkle a little extra baking soda in the litter box to help out(our younger cat is a stinky one!). Clumping: We've tried many of the more popular brand name litters out there over the years, but we've decided that this brand does a good enough job with the clumping, and so ease of cleaning, along with the odor control that we stick to this. When I say "good enough" I mean that it could be better. Therefore only the 4 stars. We've used other brands of litter that clumped better than this product, but our cats seemed to be very sensitive to it, so we came back to this product. Also, the dust isn't bad at all with this product. So you won't feel like you're breathing in dusty residue as you're cleaning the littler box. Finally, we recently signed up with amazon's subscription service for this product as well as a few others that we regularly need to purchase and bring home from the grocery store. We've found that the price is very competitive, as amazon is well know for, and having it delivered by the postal or UPS service just makes it so convenient. My wife doesn't have to lug these heavy boxes around either, so that's bonus!
