Stylish, practical & easy to keep clean, these are so much better than melamine & not much heavier.

After years of ceramic dishes that chipped and cracked too easily, and often got too hot in the microwave, we decided to try Corelle, and are glad that we did. They're lightweight and very thin, freeing up cabinet space, and we like the design of square plates and bowls. They haven't chipped or cracked and best of all, they stay cool enouugh to handle after being in the microwave. They're safe to use in the oven, too, but they do get hot. They do feel a bit like plastic, which I don't like, but all in all thye're a big improvement and we're very satisfied. The sets of dishes came within just a few days of ordering, very well packed, nothing was broken. I love these dishes. They replace a set of dark pottery that I've had for 30 some years and I love how light they are, in color and in weight. They stack beautifully in my cupbard, and dishwasher. The "salad" plates are large enough to use for dinner plates, but the dinner plates are perfect for a large meal. I could not be happier with my new every-day dishes.
