Honestly, I wasn't sure about this because so many reviews state that the flavour is REALLY bad -- it's not?? I don't get what that's all about because it just tastes like powdered peas if it had less flavour. Obviously it's not going to taste sweet because it's unflavoured, but it's not an overly bitter taste, if much taste at all. It's perfect for blending into matcha, teas, or slow cooker recipes to add extra protein into my diet. It hardly adds any taste difference to my teas or recipes; I don't notice a difference. Taste: Slightly chalky, minimally bitter. If you don't like the minimal taste that it has, just mix it with some cacao powder or vanilla, or something that has a more potent flavour to it. Mixing Quality: I find it easier to mix into my drinks with an electric milk frother and not by shaking it or using a fork. If I'm putting it into cooking recipes, it just dissolves on its own. Expiration Date: It's expiration date is set to December 2026, which gives me over 1.5yrs to consume it. That's fairly good. **Also, I have a weak stomach and find it hard to digest certain foods. This has never given my stomach any issues with pain or bloating. Actually, it's one of the better protein powders I've tried for my weak stomach. I've had some issues with the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey which was recently the best one I've tried, but this definitely beats that in concerns with being more easily digestable.

Sigan con su calidad de proteína, las personas que se quejan del sabor deben saber que es precisamente porque es una proteína de calidad que no tiene nada agregado que disfrace su sabor.

The taste is a little rough, but I mix it with 8 ounces of Coke Zero or Diet Mountain Dew and it completely negates the pea taste. In short, find 8 ounces of something you like to mix with it. For someone like me who is allergic to whey, this has proved to be the best alternative. The protein content is solid, and it is free of dairy, soy, and gluten, which makes it a good fit for anyone with dietary restrictions. It also has a simple ingredient list without a lot of extras. I have tried other proteins, but this one has been the most consistent and effective. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable non whey protein source.

Absolutely horrible taste. Tasting it on its own, it's a little salty / savory. It also has a somewhat pasty texture out of the container. When mixed in liquid, the chalky taste never goes away. You can add all kinds of flavors to mask the taste, but the chalkiness never goes away. Had 2 servings...sadly, ready to throw it out.

It was definitely a challenge just to break the seal of the screw-on lid; you really have to give it a good hard turn to break that first point of contact. I was happy to see that it had a second seal covering the opening. I blended approximately 800 mL of water with five scoops of the fine protein powder (the static electricity is normal) I added four slices of banana just to add a little bit of taste and four pieces of avocado. The blending process was easy and no clumps or grittiness were present afterwards. The taste is actually very bland but not bad at all. If you're used to sweetness, as is in a lot of protein powders, this will definitely be a shock because there's absolutely no taste of sweetness. It reminded me a little bit of eating Pablum when I was a child, which I don't mind the taste of. I emailed [email protected], to ask when the Canadian online store would be up and running and what was the name of the company that tests their products. According to Jeffrey A. Quinones, Naked Nutrition uses Eurofins Scientific, located in the USA, for their third-party testing and unfortunately, they do not have any updates as to when their Canadian online store will be running. This perturbed me because Naked Nutrition offers a 20% discount if you sign up and give them your mobile number but then cannot honour it because they have no Canadian online store. They should not be offering discounts until they can honour them. The yellow pea protein powder is an isolate that is completely free of additives, artificial sweeteners, thickeners, emulsifiers, etc., it’s just yellow pea protein powder. More important, is how it is processed. Naked ensures no contamination occurs from chemical detergents, synthetic additives, or heavy metals. It has great posted lab results if you are concerned with heavy metals in the product; the Arsenic is 20 times lower than the limits set by the AHPA. I guess peas aren’t subject to too much heavy metal absorption. Keep in mind heavy metals are in everything we eat. So, the true question is would I buy it again? I definitely think so I like the fact that there is no other crap in it and that it is simply one ingredient, yellow pea protein. It has all but one of the essential amino acids; by adding hemp you complete the essential amino acid profile.
