My 2 year old has beaten this shield on everything in the house and it only has a few scratches. He's even at one point tried to stand on it and it just kept Cap'n. The sound effects are utterly ridiculous though. They sound like bad 80s dubbed movie effects but it fits my ridiculous toddler lol

This is a birthday gift but not yet delivered. However, the shield and cape will make this 5 year old superhero ecstatic. It’s the perfect size shield to ward off treacherous villains and save the day.

I purchased one of these sets for my 5yo son at Christmas time. I had no idea at the time that the shield lights up and makes noise. That was a nice surprise. Our neighbors’ 4yo son lives it so much, I’m buying a second one for him. The cape needs to be steamed upon opening and the mask is a bit itchy according to the kids but all they really want is the shield anyway. It makes for a lot of fun at playtime. It sparks their imagination and almost always ends up in playing outside which I love! I recommend this toy.
