Excellent of its own accord
I bought this because I learned that it was made by Asaro Farms. I am so pleased with Partanna that I just had to try it. Being unfiltered, I was hoping that it would be stronger than Partanna, but that is not the case. While it seems an excellent oil, and feels good on the tongue — the bottle I have is somewhat milder than the Partanna I have. And yet the flavor seems identical, with the familiar after burn in the back of the throat. Also super buttery, thick, a bit salty, with more green color — I love it.I guess I am forever doomed, having to buy all Asaro products, so that I can make these subjective comparisons to satisfy my curiosity.

Clean oil
Good flavor, dark glass bottle preserves quality. Highly recommended by consumer labs as to polyphenol content, freshness, and purity

Our favorite olive oil
We love the rawness to this oil, it seems to be in the most unadulterated state possible. The taste is just right - medium intensity with an almost buttery smoothness. Bottled in Glass, so no plastic toxins (organic red pine needle oil detoxes plastic). Worth it!

Good quality olive oil
This product is unfiltered olive oil. I was expecting it to be a bit more flavorful with deeper green color. However, it is still a very good olive oil with a good flavor.

Perfect Oil
High Quality oil. Delicious as a bread dipping oil mixed with some romano, oregano.

Delicious
Expensive but worth it! It will obviously last a long time even using as a substitute for buttering bread.

I don't use this anymore - I get fresher oil from the Internet
Why 5 stars if I don't use it? I think this is the best Olive Oil on Amazon. However, there is no date of harvest or production on the bottle or description. I just bought a gallon of fresh organic California olive oil, harvested in January. I paid just over $100 with shipping. There is no reason these producers can't put the press date on the bottle, except that they don't want you to know. If this company took this last step to become the best of the best, they would really earn my loyalty. Unless this olive oil is old. Is it? Who could know?Since this oil is very expensive, I suggest that buyers {GASP} go off of Amazon and seek farms that actually state production dates and {GASP AGAIN} actually run out of product after they sell the fresh batch. Otherwise, why pay so much for something that is supposed to be fresh?Another option for those who really have the cash, is the Olive Oil Hunter, who will send you fresh olive oil from around the world at a price that I believe is about 50% higher than this oil. His thing is 30 days from tree to table.I bought my gallon from Olive Leaf Hills. Having tried both the Paesano and my gallon of super fresh oil, I can say that the super-fresh tastes SUPER-fresh! I really does smell like fresh cut grass.Anyway, time to go bake a loaf of bread to dip in it!
