Pizza Cutter

Once I stumbled upon this type of a cutter on Amazon, I researched several different options - 2 (upright) handles on each end, 2 “pass through” grooves for hands (as this one) and even this style has different types - wood handles. A singular wood handle across entire top, plastic handles, etc. At first I was going to order the plastic handle version so I could put it in the dishwasher (although they say the wood version is dishwasher safe, eventually water settles in and the high heat of washer drys out and cracks the wood). But I ended up opting for this one because its height was one of the tallest I saw for this type of cutter (allowing to cut through deeper items with ease). Plus, once I received it I realized how easy it is to wash. Just spray and carefully wipe (away from edge of blade). This thing easily sliced through my deeper dish styles pizzas without making a mess of the top of the pizza (eg, pulling away all of the toppings). Just be careful- this thing is sharp! Great value at the price point ($8). At first it seemed flimsy, as it could kinda bend easily toward the middle of the blade), but when used I didn’t detect any issues or the blade bending while using.

Omg. My son bought one for his son to cut pizza. It work 100 times better than a pizza cutting wheel. Extremely sharp. So bought one. Sure glad I did. Cuts pizza like cutting through butter. Thanks

Works well if you remember to cut through outside crust first then rock through the remainder of the pizza. 14" size is good for 12" pizza... bigger blade would be called for with larger pizza. Rocking motion works better than trying to cut with knife or scissors. Blade is sharp... keep it clean, dry, and with protective cover when not in use.

This utensil has made my life MUCH easier. It cuts like a dream... sharp blade, nice blade cover and convenient handles. Love it!

Did my first pizza party last week, went through about 12 pizzas and cutting slices out of them was a breeze. (I was using a bamboo cutting board) This product is well designed (easy to handle) and sharp (only needed one pass to get the pizza cut), which made the job so efficient, considering the number of pizzas that were coming out of the oven in a short period of time. I highly recommend it.
