i just got this card in the mail today and it turned out exactly as i hoped it would. it's a beautiful card. i've never had a Gold rare card before so, this is a first for me. i Definitely recommend getting it. it is a legit. tournament legal card. it does not have a blue-tinted back to it but, that's ok because this edition isn't meant to. so, despite it having a normal color backing to it, it's still a genuine Obelisk card.

I’ve had to re-order this card 3 times because Super Games refuses to include any sort of protective sleeve or even two pieces of old cardboard to keep it damage-free.Most recently I basically begged them to send me a replacement in some kind of hard plastic, and it arrived this morning in an almost comically large paper envelope and arrived all busted up & creased again.. WTF Super Games Inc??Literally every card I have bought from SGI, EXCEPT THIS ONE, comes with some form of protection.Don’t bother with this, order it from SSA Cards or one of the other ones like im about to.

When I got the letter in the mail and opened it up, I was... impressed. I expected it to be like a general gold card but it was real. I compared it to my Blue Eyes Shining Dragon from the First movie pack and it was the same!

Product came in original “theatrical distribution” case and was also packaged in a bubble wrap envelope. Upon opening the card, it has 2 unsightly bends that make me regret purchasing the card in the first place. Obelisk is my favorite god card and I would have liked one like the pristine picture that was advertised for the $6.99+ tax I had paid for the card.
